    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a deep-part dose distribution quickly and accurately by measuring the quantity of light of the wavelength corresponding to the emission spectrum of a scintillation fiber for light from a detection part end face in block shape where scintillation fibers are bundled using a spectroscope. SOLUTION: A particle beam 201 is incident to a detection part 202 and emits light in the detection part 202. The light is transmitted to the end face of the detection part 202 and an absorption dose distribution is displayed on a display 207 via an optical system 203, a spectroscope 204, an image-measuring equipment 205, and an image-processing device 206. Scintillation light generates light with a wavelength corresponding to the scintillator, while the wavelength distribution of Cherenkov light is inversely proportional to the square of the wavelength and has a continuous distribution from an ultraviolet ray region to a blue region. When a scintillator for emitting light at a wavelength region that is longer than a blue region, for example, at a green region is selected, it is capable of discriminating easily since the wavelengths of the scintillation light and Cherenkov light differ, thus accurately measuring a deep-part dose distribution.
