    • PURPOSE:To perform a smooth shift of a very high speed power in a high change gear ratio at a stretch by bringing the high outside diameter part of a planetary roller into pressure contact with the outer periphery of a solar roller and an armor ring into pressure contact with the outer peripheries of low outside diameter parts on both sides through a slope under the presence of oil. CONSTITUTION:When very high speed rotation is reduced and transmitted from a high speed shaft 13 to a low speed shaft 14, working oil at a hydraulic source 10 is fed to a hydraulic cylinder 9, and an armor ring 4 is axially moved toward a planetary roller 3. The above operation causes armor rings 4 and 4' on both sides to nip low outside diameter parts 6 and 6 of the three planetary rollers 3 between the slopes of the inner peripheries thereof, and the planetary roller 3 is pressed against a solar roller 2 through a current wedge action. The press generates an extreme pressure at contact parts between the armor rings 4 and 4' and the low outside diameter parts 6 and 6 of the planetary rollers 3 and a contact part between a high outside diameter part 5 of the planetary roller 3 and the solar roller 2, and generates a high traction force by means of a friction force instantaneously generated under the presence of oil.

    • PURPOSE:To realize non-stage transmission free from impact by providing a sun frictional wheel whose operating diameter varies owing to motion along a shaft, a set of frictional wheels interposing the above, and a frictional ring casing for slidably holding the axis lengthwise direction of the frictional ring contacting the set of frictional wheels on an inner slope. CONSTITUTION:A sun frictional wheel 1, a set of frictional wheels 2 interposing the wheel 1 and a frictional ring 4 contacting the set of frictional wheels 2 on an inner slope 3 are provided while the frictional ring 4 is slidably held in a casing 5. The sun frictional wheel 1, the set of frictional wheels 2 and the frictional ring 4 form respectively a contact face whose operating diameter varies along an axis lengthwise direction, while each is made movable along the axis lengthwise direction with positioning devices 6 to 8. Therefore, the operating diameter of each frictional wheel 1 to 3 is changed due to change in position so that rotations of a rotating axis 11 of the frictional wheel 1 and a rotting axis 12 of the frictional wheels 2 are varied thereby realizing non-stage transmission free from impact.

    • PURPOSE:To provide high transmission efficiency by engaging a driving frictional disc rotating with an input shaft, with a driven frictional disc rotating with a driven rotating member, and performing transmission to a planetary gear mechanism on the output side through a gear fixed to the driven rotating member. CONSTITUTION:A driving frictional disc 40 rotating with an input shaft 7 is internally brought into contact with a driven frictional disc 41 positioned at the input shaft and free to be controlled in its eccentricity, in an wedge engagement. In a top shift condition, both discs 40, 41 are in contact coaxially. In this case, they 40, 41 are in pressure contact on the whole circumference, and thus extremely high efficiency close to 100% is provided without slide. In shift conditions other than the top condition, the driven frictional disc 41 is eccentric to the driving disc 40 so that they are brought into contact partially. In this case, the contact is in an internal state and the difference between pitch line diameters at frictional transmission point of both discs 40, 41 is not so large. It is thus possible to provide high transmission efficiency even at other speed change ranges other than the top range.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the extremely high efficiency of slipless transmission by adjusting eccentrically a driven friction wheel in pressure contact with a drive friction wheel rotating together with an input shaft respectively to an output shaft to interconnect directly both friction wheels through wedge engagement. CONSTITUTION:When an eccentric cam 12 is pivoted by a lever 16 to align a drive friction wheel 67 with a driven friction wheel 19, both wheels contact each other on the whole peripheries and integrally rotate by a coiled spring 66 with the wedge action of disks 62, 65b causing few slippage. Under such condition, the rotation of an input shaft 30 rotates a planet carrier 29 and a drive rotor 48 and further a driven rotor 18 and a gear 22 through a key 60, shaft tube 61, ring 63 key 64, shaft tube 65 and both friction wheels 67, 19. Also a transmission gear 32 is rotated through an internal transmission gear 26, each planet gear 56 rotates approximately integrally with the input shaft 30 so that the rotational speed ratio of output shaft 41 is 1:1 representing the low condition. Next, when the lever 16 is pivoted in the reverse direction, the output shaft 41 is rotated with aceleration. Thus, extremely high transmission efficiency can be obtained.
