Rail treads of the wheel transfer portions of the respective fixed wing rails 3 and 4 are formed in such a shape that head surfaces of the fixed wing rails 3 and 4 positioned on the other sides of the main rails corresponding to the fixed wing rails 3 and 4, respectively, are cut so that a leading end side of the movable nose rail 2 can be widened depending on the width of the movable nose rail.

The nose-movable crossing structure is equipped with a floor plate 42 with a pivot shaft, which has the pivot shaft 4 and which slightly turns on the crossing floor plate 40. The movable nose rail 10 is fixed to the floor plate 42 with the pivot shaft by means of a pair of movable rail fixing washers arranged on both sides thereof; the floor plate 42 with the pivot shaft has an inclined washer which is fixed to abut on an inclined plane provided in an outside position; and an outside end is fixed on the side of the crossing floor plate by means of the washer fixed to the crossing floor plate 40.

      SOLUTION: The guide cap 50 having a tapered part 50-1 at the tip is fittingly inserted around a choke bolt 32 erected from a floor plate 30 installed on a sleeper. The movable crossing 18 is lowered while holding the horizontal attitude of the movable crossing 18 and placing a choke bolt hole 36 formed at a lower end, along the tip tapered part 50-1 of the guide cap 50. In the state of the movable crossing 18 being normally seated on the floor plate 30, the guide cap 50 is detached, and the choke bolt 32 is fastened with a nut.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the deformation curve of a point by manufacturing the front section, central section and rear section of a triangular monoblock of the single elements of cast steel, fitting the elements of casting sections to the longitudinal sections of corresponding rails and imparting flexibility to the front section and containing a cross member in the central section. SOLUTION: A movable point 7 incorporated into long-sized welding rails is manufactured of single elements made of steel, and consists of a central section 11 bearing a flexible front section 9 and cross members 8 and having a hollow cross section and elements 10', to which two rails 12 forming a section 13 are welded. The elements 10' of the movable point 7 are fitted to the sectional shapes of the corresponding rails 12. The thin end 9' of the front section 9 is formed in an inverted T shape and a wide section 9" in an I shape. The rigidity of the front section 9 is changed in response to length from a minimum section adjacent to the flexible front section 9 to a maximum section at the wide rear section 10. Accordingly, the deformation curve of the point 7 is adjusted while the movable point 7, in which a large number of parts are not required in a sitting section, can be manufactured.
