    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely insert glass substrates one by one into storage portions of a storage container.SOLUTION: A glass substrate loading device 10 includes: a moving table 20; a stationary base 30; a glass substrate insertion mechanism 40; an air cylinder 50 for driving the table; and a storage container feeding mechanism 60. The glass substrate insertion mechanism 40 makes a glass substrate holding portion 170 lifted or lowered by an air cylinder 180 for driving ascent or descent, and makes the glass substrate W held or released in synchronization with a lifting or lowering operation. The storage container feeding mechanism 60 determines a movement position (distance) of the moving table 20 with respect to the stationary base 30 so that the storage container 70 can be moved by each space (one pitch) of the one storage portion 72 when the moving table 20 is moved in the alignment direction of the plurality of storage portions 72 by a driving force of the air cylinder 50 for driving the table.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container, loading equipment and a transporting method which can prevent generation of an abrasion on a plate-like body caused by vibration during transport of the plate-like body piled flatly and curved.
      SOLUTION: In the packaging container 10, two or more glass substrates G are piled flatly on a sheet material 14 and the sheet material 14 is curved together with the glass substrates G and attached to the container body 12 in a hanging state in for packing. The packaging container 10 is loaded on a loading platform of a transport vehicle and is transported from a glass substrate manufacturing factory to a liquid crystal display manufacturing factory. The packaging container 10 is loaded in a state that the curved direction of the sheet material 14 and glass substrates G faces in the orthogonal direction to traveling direction of the transport vehicle so that vibration from the vehicle is absorbed by the sheet material 14 hung in midair and is hardly transferred to the glass substrates G during transportation of the glass substrates G.
