    • PURPOSE:To properly and sufficiently stretch many kind of the materials to be extruded of the different shape of cross section, size and wall thickness, etc., by providing a pair of the driving parts for chucking which operate a pair of upper and lower clamping part for chucking upward and downward, and controlling the drive in order to adjust and change the height position for chucking the material to be extruded. CONSTITUTION:Each chucking device 13 has a pair of the driving parts for chucking 25 to operate a pair of upper and lower clamping parts for chucking 27 upward and downward, and the controller 28 to drive-control both driving parts for chucking 25 so as to adjust and change the height for chucking the material to be extruded A with both clamping parts 27. Therefore, the height position for chucking the material to be extruded A can be adjusted to the proper position in the range of prescribed height upward the stretch table 7 by the instruction from the controller 28 to the driving part for chucking 25. Accordingly, even if the material to be extruded is inclined to generate a large deflection caused on the support with both ends, the chucking for the material to be extruded can be executed in the state for floating the total upward the stretch table, and so the total of the material to be extruded can be worked properly and sufficiently with stretching.
