    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collectively execute storage by almost prescribed quantity by removing soil stuck to the root part of Welsh onions and carrying them without damaging a foliage part in a self-traveling Welsh onion harvesting machine. SOLUTION: A self-traveling machine body is provided with a digging carrier conveyor device 8, a pinching carrier belt 9, a soil removing rotor 14, a fibrous root removing rotor 15, a stock conveyor 18, a stock container 19 and a container stand 20. The soil removing rotor 14 is disposed in the lower part of the pinching carrier belt 9 and also in the neighborhood of the terminating end part of the digging carrier conveyor device 8. The fibrous root removing rotor 15 is provided in the lower part of the pinching carrier belt 9 and also in the neighborhood of the front end part of a transferring conveyor 16. The stock conveyor 18 is formed in the lower part of the pinching carrier belt 9 and also in a rear part from the terminating end part of the pinching carrier belt 9 so as to be sliding possible in left and right. The digging carrier conveyor device 8 is supported with its terminating end part as a center in a vertical direction so as to be rotatable and the pinching carrier belt 9 and the soil removing rotor 14 are moved backwards by interlocking with the upper movement of the digging carrier conveyor device 8.
