    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic toner, which has superior charging stability and charging uniformity, maintains stable developing property without any dependence on a service environment, and hardly causes decrease in image density and image defects such as fog and ghost.SOLUTION: The magnetic toner comprises magnetic toner particles containing a binder resin and a magnetic material, and an inorganic fine powder, and is characterized in that: (a) the magnetic toner shows, at a frequency of 100 kHz and a temperature of 30°C, a dielectric loss factor (ε") of 2.5×10pF/m or more and 7.0×10pF/m or less and a dielectric dissipation factor (tanδ) of 3.0×10or less; and (b) the magnetic toner shows, in a dielectric dissipation factor (tanδ) thereof at a frequency of 100 kHz, a maximum value (tanδ) within the temperature range from 60 to 140°C; and the tanδand tanδsatisfy a relation of (tanδ-tanδ)≤3.0×10.
