摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of suppressing a domain generated at an electrode end for forming holding capacity and improving display mode efficiency.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a pair of wall-like first electrodes which are formed so as to project from a liquid crystal side surface of a first substrate to a liquid crystal layer side; a linear second electrode which is formed in a pixel display unit held by the pair of first electrodes and is formed along an extension direction of the first electrodes; a first capacity electrode electrically connected to the first electrodes; and a second capacity electrode which is arranged to be superimposed on the first capacity electrode via an insulation film and is electrically connected to the second electrode. Of the capacity electrodes, a side edge portion on a pixel display section side of the first capacity electrode formed on a hierarchy close to the liquid crystal layer is formed to retreat more than a side edge portion on a pixel display section side of the second capacity electrode formed on a hierarchy far from the liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal display device further includes second convex bodies extending in a lateral direction of the pixels.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of suppressing deterioration in display quality.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises: a first substrate including a pixel electrode disposed in a pixel having a length in a first direction shorter than a length in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction and having a main pixel electrode extending in the second direction and a sub-pixel electrode extending in the first direction and electrically connected to the main pixel electrode; a second substrate including a common electrode having main common electrodes extending in approximately parallel to the main pixel electrode on both sides with the main pixel electrode held therebetween, and sub-common electrodes extending in approximately parallel to the sub-pixel electrode on both sides with the sub-pixel electrode held therebetween and electrically connected to the main common electrode; and a liquid crystal layer including a liquid crystal molecule held between the first substrate and the second substrate. The distance between the horizontal electrodes along the first direction, which corresponds to the distance between the main pixel electrode and the main common electrode, is larger than the distance between the vertical electrodes along a third direction orthogonal to the first and second directions, which corresponds to the distance between the main pixel electrode and the main common electrode.

The common electrode patterns and at least one or more black matrix patterns are used as driving electrodes and detecting electrodes of an electrostatic capacitive touch screen panel, respectively.

The pixel electrode 106 is formed prior to the formation of the drain electrode 104, the source electrode 105, a video signal line, and the like, and then, the source electrode 105 and the like are formed. This can prevent disconnection from being caused by a battery action via a developer in the video signal line, the drain electrode 104, the source electrode 105, and the like, in the case where ITO has a pinhole or the like in patterning the ITO.
