    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost reduction gear which can reduce maintenance and weight by preventing on oil leakage from a reduction gear from occurring while enabling the simplification of an oil seal construction.
      SOLUTION: The reduction gear comprises a hypoid gear (rectangular gear) 30, which engages a hypoid pinion (rectangular pinion) 28 arranged in a connecting shaft (input shaft or drive shaft of preceding stage) 24, having an engaging face 30A in own axial line direction O1, and a first helical gear (parallel axis gear) 36 incorporated in an engaging face 30A side of the hypoid gear 30 of a first rotary shaft 34 in which the hypoid gear 30 is incorporated. Additionally, a grease of 385 or less in worked penetration is applied to the engaging face 30A side of the hypoid gear 30 as an engaging face lubricant.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve power transmitting performance with a reduction in the operating torque and the torque fluctuation of a gear. SOLUTION: The surface roughness of a driven gear (a worm wheel 12) is set to be in a plateau condition (a flat mountain and a deep valley) with a skewness Rsk of 0.8 or less, as shown in Fig.(a). Preferably, a center line average roughness Ra of the driven gear (the worm wheel 12) is set to be 0.9 μm or less. Thus, a valley portion having a deep tooth face serves as an oil reservoir to improve lubricating performance, resulting in a reduction in the operating torque.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear device having an excellent lubricity and a high grease holding effect.
      SOLUTION: A planetary gear is structured by laminating a plurality of thin plates 27 press-formed in a same form and rotatably supported by a gear pin 13 provided through a center hole 28 formed at a center part of each thin plate 27. In the planetary gear, a grease receiver 29 is formed by utilizing sagging generated when pressing at an inner circumference corner part of the center hole 28 of each of the thin plates 27. In other words, a clearance formed between the sagging at each of the thin plates 27 and the gear pin 13 is formed as the grease receiver 29. Thus, lubricity of the planetary gear is improved, grease can be prevented from scattering at the time of rotation of the planetary gear and it is possible to secure excellent lubricity for a long period of time.
