    • PURPOSE: To supply electric power between both fixed and portable units by magnetic coupling and to transmit encoded information in avoiding mutual interference by arranging transmission and reception coils of the fixed and the portable units with a bias. CONSTITUTION: Fixed and the portable units 44, 56 are provided with respective transmission, reception coils 48, 54 and 60, 58, and a magnetic field BF1 with a magnetic flux 50 is generated by flowing the electric current iF1 to the coil 48 by a drive AC current source 46. The generated electric power is supplied to a code transmitter as a clock F1 and DC voltage by the coil 58 in the magnetic field BF1 and a magnetic field BF2 with a magnetic flux 62 by a coil 60 by flowing electric current iF2 to the coil 60 by a card ASIC. The electric power flows through the coils 54, 58 by arranging the coils 48, 54 and 60, 58 with a bias. The mutual interference is removed by forming respective halves of the pieces of magnetic fluxes 50, 62 in the opposite directions. Consequently, the electric power is supplied, and the encoded information is transmitted/ received between the units by the magnetic fluxes.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a small-sized and lightweight integrated thermally imaging system by incorporating a scanning means, a focal optical element means and a detecting means in a system housing, by focusing a scanned image while correcting aberrations, and by processing detection signals with the use of an electronic circuit. CONSTITUTION: An imaging system 10 has a JOWER type a flask housing 12 in which a meniscus lens, a rotatable scanning mirror 16, a focusing mirror 18 and a detector array 20 are incorporated. The meniscus lens serves as a window for the system 10 so that an infrared beam can be irradiated on a scanning line while the scanning mirror 16 rectilinearly scan an image, and the focusing mirror 8 focuses radiation onto the detector array 20. An electronic circuit for processing various detection outputs is attached to a detector support arm 26. This system 10 is operated together with a reflective type telescope, and an emitting eye is located outside of the rear surface of the telescope, and is dropped onto the scanning line. The diameter of a light beam becomes minimum on the scanning mirror 16, and accordingly, the scanning mirror 16 may have a smaller size. Thereby it is possible to reduce the overall size of the system 10.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a seal welding device which closes the axial bore of a sealing plug having the axial bore in a communicating state with a hollow tube. CONSTITUTION: The welding device 10 has a head 57 to which an end stop member 15 is freely rotatably mounted. The end stop member is movable between an extended position where the front sealing plug engaging the sealing plug is extended for engaging and supporting a sealing plug during welding and a retracted position where the end stop member is retracted. A seal welding electrode 14 is supported in an axial passage of the end stop member. The electrode is movable between a retracted non-welding position where an arc release tip exists in the axial position and an extended welding position where the seal welding of the axial bore is made possible. A drive cylinder 80 as a drive means is connected to the seal welding electrode and the end stop means and the end stop means is retreated to the retracted position and simultaneously the electrode is displaced to the welding position, by which the seal welding is executed.
