    • PURPOSE:To decrease an optical transmission loss and an increase in the loss by a temp. change by forming a protective coating layer consisting of a thermoplastic resin formed on an optical fiber strand in a manner as to have compressive strain. CONSTITUTION:The thermoplastic resin 4 flows a double pipe flow passage between a die 1 and a nipple 2 and the thermoplastic resin is coated on the optical fiber strand 3 where the strand emits from the nipple 2. The thermoplastic resin 4 is extrusion-coated under pressurization on the optical fiber strand 3 at the amt. required for coating said thermoplastic resin on the optical fiber strand to the outside diameter which is the same as the bore of the nozzle of the die 1 or the amt. in excess thereof as the output of the above-mentioned resin. Since the thermoplastic resin 4 coated on the optical fiber strand 3 is molded while the resin is held pressurized in the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber, the shrinkage of the coating to be generated right after the extrusion coating and after heat history does not grow to the shrinkage rate to the extent of generating microbending in the optical fiber strand and rather acts in the direction to elongate the optical fiber. The transmission characteristic of the optical fiber is thereby improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an implement for taking up the extra length of a wiring optical fiber cable produced in wiring, which is capable of easily taking up the extra length of the wiring, without impairing its characteristics. SOLUTION: The implement for taking up the extra length of the optical fiber cable comprises an optical fiber cable slot, which allows the insertion of the cable so as to pass the same within a box-shaped case body and extra length take-up drums which consist of the rotatable extra length take-up drum on one side, capable of taking up the optical fiber cable by bending the cable into the case body without the impairment of its characteristics, a lower flange formed with a guide part in the outer peripheral part fixed to the upper part of the extra length take-up drum on the one side, a pair of guide drums fixed across a spacing to the upper part of the lower flange, an upper flange formed with a guide part in the optical fiber cable slot and outer peripheral part fixed to cover the upper parts of a pair of the guide drums and a rotating implement, capable of rotating the extra length take-up drum on the other side formed with the optical fiber cable slot fixed to the top surface of the upper flange from the outer side of the case body.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide indoor wiring and a unit cable therefore, capable of preventing the surrounding of a distribution panel from becoming complicated due to wiring by reducing the number of wiring from the distribution panel by one-half, downsizing the distribution panel, reducing the cost of the wiring, and also facilitating 200V wiring. SOLUTION: This indoor wiring comprises the distribution panel, having a plurality of 100V/200V single-phase 3-line type branching breakers connected to a 100V/200V single-phase 3-line type incoming line, branching tools connected to the 100V/200V single 3-line type branching breakers of the distribution panel via 100V/200V single-phase 3-line type interior wiring cables, respectively, and an electric apparatus, such as an illumination lamp having a plurality of electric outlets and switches connected to the 100V/200V single-phase 3-line type interior wiring cable in the branch tool, using any of 100V-100V circuit wiring, 100V-100V-200V circuit wiring, or 100V-200V circuit wiring.
