    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform generator suitable for a scratch processing and a scrabble reproduction. SOLUTION: A wave sample is read from wave memory 17 based on a reading address generated by an address counter 33, and is specifically processed by an interpolation circuit 34, a sound volume change control circuit 35, a channel accumulator 36, and an effect circuit 37 respectively for being outputted to a digitalanalog converter 19. In a case of scratch reproduction, it is judged whether or not a change in a manipulated variable of an operating knob such as a jog dial is smaller than a fixed value, and if it is smaller than the fixed value, updating the address outputted from the address counter 33 is stopped. Thus, noise can be prevented from being generated when a direction of waveform reproduction is reversed. Further, in the case of scrabble reproduction, a read address is updated according to a difference between the read address and a time cursor position operated by the operating knob.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to execute sound recording waveform processing and reproducing waveform processing without complexing device constitution so much by loading a first or second prescribed program on a signal processing circuit (DSP) and parallel performing both of the sound recording waveform processing and the reproducing waveform processing. SOLUTION: The signal processing circuit 205 performs individually signal processing for the musical sound waveform data from a mixer 204 at every channel to return again the processed result to the mixer 204. At this time, the circuit 205 obtains the delayed data by using a delay memory 111 at need. The function of the signal processing circuit 205 is controlled by a loaded microprogram, and performs the signal processing such as waveform processing or effect giving, etc., at the time of sampling and resampling. Then, the signal processing circuit 205 performs the signal processing for the musical sound waveform supplied from a waveform memory 109 to sound record the result, and supplies an output performed with the signal processing of the musical waveform supplied from the waveform memory 109 to an external sound system.

    • PURPOSE:To freely control the delay feeling and to improve the playing effect by delaying the start of sound generation of musical sound signal by either one of two musical sound signal penerating circuits and variably controlling delay time. CONSTITUTION:In two musical sound signal generating circuits 20 and 21, musical sound signals are respectively generated in a digital form having tone colors in accordance with tone color information with pitches corresponding to a key code KC given by a buffer register 18. Moreover, each circuit 20 and 21 respectively generates musical sound signals having pitches corresponding to common specified pitches in accordance with the code KC. In this case, the start of sound generation of musical sound signals in either one of the circuits is delayed with respect to another one and a delayed double playing effect is realized. Wherein, in accordance with the selected tone color, whether on not the delaying is applied and which circuit is to be delayed may be controlled. The delay feeling is freely controlled by variably controlling the delay time.

    • PURPOSE:To freely adjust the output timing of musical sound parameters by providing a parameter supplying means which reads musical sound parameters from each storage area of a parameter storage means and supplies them to a musical sound generating means. CONSTITUTION:A parameter supplying means changes a channel number based on the time from the beginning of a pipeline control of a prescribed channel number to the start of a use of a musical sound parameter. The musical sound parameters are stored in DRAMs 11 to 1N while using the changed channel number as write addresses. The musical sound parameters, which are used in each processing phase of each channel that controls pipelines, are read from each storage area of the DRAMs 11 to 1N while using the channel number being specified by a timing generating section 1 as read addresses and are supplied to a musical sound generating means. Thus, musical sound parameters are read from the DRAMs 11 to 1N with a good process timing of each processing phase of the pipeline controls and the output timing is freely adjusted.

    • PURPOSE:To re-record playing data repeatingly in a same block by setting a playing data recording position to a position, which is stored in a storing means, at first when an operating mode is selected to be a re-record mode, stopping operation in a recording stand-by condition and switch-setting the operating mode to a recording mode when key-on data are generated. CONSTITUTION:When correction or addition is executed to the playing data to be just recorded, an operating mode control means 5 returns the playing data storing position by a playing data recording means 2 to the position, which is stored in a recording position storing means 3, in correspondence to the operation of a re-record mode selecting means 4 and sets the operating mode of the recording means 2 to the recording stand-by mode. When the key-on data are generated by the playing start of music in this recording stand-by condition, the operating mode control means 5 switches and sets the operating mode of the playing data recording means 2 to the recording mode with synchronizing to this key-on. Thus, the playing data can be re-recorded in the same recording block by repeating many times.
