摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of vibration due to stick slip at the time of starting the engagement and starting the release by improving the property of a friction material used in a lock-up clutch. CONSTITUTION:A friction material 10 fitted to a lock-up clutch piston 11 has a high resin ratio layer in the vicinity of the surface after molding and a low resin ratio layer in the interior. Then, the friction surface is cut by a preset amount to expose the low resin ratio layer. Accordingly, at the time of starting the engagement, the low resin ratio layer of the friction material 10 is brought into contact with the inside surface of a front cover 6 to conduct the slip control according to the property of the low resin ratio layer, whereby the generation of stick slip can be prevented. At the completion of the engagement, the high resin ratio layer is brought into contact with the inside surface of the front cover 6 so as to accomplish the engagement with high coefficient of static friction.

摘要： PURPOSE:To to prevent generation of dragging torque due to centrifugal oil pressure. CONSTITUTION:It is an oil pressure controller of an automatic transmission 6 which is provided with a clutch 5 which has a piston 2 which advances by applying oil pressure to an oil chamber 1, a friction plate 3 which is engaged by the piston 2, and a check valve device 4 which discharges pressure from the oil chamber 1 by closing the valve due to centrifugal force. It is provided with an oil passage 7 which supplies and discharges pressure oil to the oil chamber 1 and a restriction device 8 which restricts flow-in of pressure oil into the oil chamber 1 via the oil passage 7. Also, it is provided with an idle running detection means 9 which detects that the clutch 5 rotates in the released condition, and a command means 10 which operates by an output signal from the idle running detection means 9 based on the detection of rotation of the clutch 5 in the released condition and restricts flow-in of oil pressure into the clutch 5 via the oil passage 7 by the restriction device 8.

摘要： PURPOSE:To solve the problem of frictional engagement elements being dragged so as to prevent shock that could be caused by gear shift by making the number of portions to be detected by a rotation sensor larger than that of portions to be detected which are located on that side where rotation is started. CONSTITUTION:To shift gears from second to third as the whole transmission, a second brake B2 is locked at a main transmission unit 21 and high-speed rotation is stopped from a sun gear 30 and at an auxiliary transmission unit 16 an O/D brake B0 is released and rotation of an O/D sun gear 23 is started. In this case the condition of rotation of the O/D brake B0 is detected by a first rotation sensor A1 and the number of the portions 65a to be detected of a flange 65 which are detected by the rotation sensor is set larger than that of the portions to be detected of the flange which are detected by a second rotation sensor A2 for monitoring the condition of rotation of the main transmission unit 21 and also the condition of rotation of the O/D sun gear 23 can be accurately judged regardless of low speed at the start of rotation. Therefore, shock caused by gear changes can be reduced as the whole transmission when the transmission units 16, 21 perform gear shifting.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the variance of quality caused among the linear solenoid valve products and to improve the reliability of these valves by performing the adjustment in order to secure the coincidence between the stroke position of a plunger set to the prescribed electric signal value set at an electromagnet part and the spool position set against the prescribed output pressure of a pressure control valve. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnet part 3 is set so that the sucking force of a plunger 37 produced by an electromagnet has the sloping characteristic which varies by the stroke position of a plunger. Then the part 3 is adjusted so that the substantial coincidence is secured between the stroke position of the plunger corresponding to the prescribed set sucking force and the spool position set by the output pressure corresponding to the prescribed set value of a voltage control valve part 2. Under such condition, a stroke position corresponding to the prescribed sucking force always exists in a prescribed stroke range. Thus each solenoid valve can absorb the error measured individually so as to secure the prescribed output pressure to a prescribed electric signal.

At the time of engagement or released, a good pressure adjusting characteristic can be obtained, and gear change shock of an automatic transmission can thus be reduced.

The one control level 111 coupled to the other control lever, not shown, mounted to a dirver's seat is secured to the left end of the shaft 104, and the other right end is extended to the middle of a through-hole 108, and some space is formed between the right end and the outer surface of a right side wall 6d. Namely, the length of the shaft 104 is decreased, a cap 112 is inserted in an engaged manner in the space, the cap 112 doe not make contact with the right end of the shaft 104, and the through-hole 108 is sealed in a liquidtight state by means of the cap 112.

Thus, a load on an inner part 102a of a bearing 102 on the front side is relieved. Further, since a working point (b) of loads f4 and f5 exerted on the gear 17 of a ring gear 21 and a sun gear 19 is moved to be rear side, a load on an inside part 102a of the bearing 102 is further relieved.

This method enables reduction of a burden on an oil pump and improvement of fuel consumption.

Thus, N-D or D-N shift can be executed with less time lag, and with a small speed change shock.
