    • PURPOSE:To prevent a cooling capacity from being decreased and enable a stable operation of an air conditioner to be carried out by a method wherein a reduction in cooling capacity against an absorbing device caused by deterioration in aging or closed contamination at cooling fins is sensed in response to a variation of the number of rotation in an air-cooled fan then to inform a user of a clogged state in the cooling fins. CONSTITUTION:A controller 30 controls each of a blower fan 11, an air-cooled fan 17, a pump 23, a control valve 15 in a fuel supplying pipe 14, various valves V1 to V5 and each of alarm lamps 33 and 34 in response to various sensing signals produced from various sensors T1 to T7 arranged at an outdoor device and an output signal produced from a communication controller 31 connected to an indoor device 2. At this time, the controller 30 confirms that the rotation of the air-cooled fan is normal. In turn, it stores an appropriate temperature at an outlet of the absorbing device 20 which is predetermined in response to a surrounding air temperature, an outlet sensed temperature of the absorbing device and time-series variation data calculated in response to both these temperatures. When the variation data exceeds a specified value, a clogged state in the cooling fins in the absorbing device 20 is alarmed to a user.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a flashing phenomenon and to enable a stable operation to be carried out by a method wherein a reduction in cooling capacity against a condenser caused by an aging deterioration of cooling fins or damaged clogging at the cooling fins is detected in response to a variation of the number of rotation in an air-cooled fan to inform a user of a clogged state in the cooling fins. CONSTITUTION:A controller 30 controls each of a blower fan 11, an air-cooled fan 17, a pump 23, a control valve 15 in a fuel supplying pipe 14, various valves V1 to V5 and an alarm lamp 33 in response to various sensing signals produced from various sensors T1 to T6 arranged outside an outdoor device and output signals produced form a communication control device 31. At this time, the controller 30 stores an appropriate number of rotation of the air-cooled fan 17 for keeping a temperature at an outlet of a condenser 16 constant in response to a heating amount of a regenerator 12 as well as a surrounding air temperature, an actual number of rotation of the air-cooled fan 17 and a time-series variation data in the actual number of rotation. In the case that the variation data exceeds a specified value, a clogged state in the cooling fan at the condenser 16 is set to be alarmed.

    • PURPOSE:To stabilize a cooling capacity by a method wherein a motor of an air cooler fan cooling a condenser is subjected to a feed forward control with the appropriate number of revolutions determined by a specified procedure on the basis of information on combination of an outdoor air temperature with a heating capacity in a regenerator and thereby the temperature of a liquefied refrigerant is maintained at a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A table of a plurality of data on the appropriate number of revolutions of a motor M1 of an air cooler fan 17 corresponding respectively to a plurality of kinds of preset patterns of combination of the heating capacity of a regenerator 12 with each change of an outdoor air temperature is stored beforehand in a memory of a controller 30. Information on the outdoor air temperature and information on actual burning detected by a temperature sensor T5 and a flame sensor T6 respectively are inputted to the controller 30. The controller 30 determines the appropriate number of revolutions of the motor M1 of the air cooler fan 17 on the basis of the inputted information and the stored table of the data on the appropriate number of revolutions. The air cooler fan 17 is subjected to a feedback forward control with this number of revolutions and thereby the temperature of a liquefied refrigerant in a condenser 16 is maintained to be a specific one.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain concentrated ratio of absorbent liquid and condensing temperature irrespective of a decrease in a cooling capacity and maintain a capacity of an absorber by increasing or decreased a quantity of heat to be supplied to a regenerator and a pumping capacity of a pump for sending dilute absorbent liquid in response to an increase or decrease in an air conditioning load. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner has an outdoor unit 1 and an indoor unit 2. The outdoor unit evaporates refrigerant in an evaporator 10, absorbs the refrigerant vapor to absorbent liquid by an absorber 20, heats the dilute absorbent liquid by a regenerator 12 to generate refrigerant vapor and concentrated absorbent, and condenses the vapor by a condenser 16. After the air in a room is directly cooled by the evaporator 10, the cooled air is blown into the room to cool it. With such a structure, a controller 30 increases or decreases a quantity of heat to be supplied to the regenerator 12, i.e., pumping capacities of a valve 15 for regulating fuel gas to be supplied to a burner 13 and a pump 23 for pumping the dilute absorbent liquid in response to an increase or a decrease in air conditioning load.
