    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid natural rubber having a desired viscosity even with no mastication, and the viscosity hardly rising during storage; and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The method for producing the solid natural rubber includes a radical generator addition step of adding a radical generator to a natural rubber latex to progress the oxidation reaction to cleave rubber molecule chains, and a solidification step of drying and solidifying the natural rubber latex after the oxidation reaction to obtain a natural rubber containing no aldehyde group in the molecule chains. The solid natural rubber is reduced in molecular weight by cleavage of the molecule chains, and the molecule chains contain no aldehyde group.

The rubber member is manufactured by crosslinking a rubber composition comprising the hydrogenated natural rubber obtained by the manufacturing method.
