    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a film thickness, to form a nonlinear resistance layer having good film quality and to prevent the surface contamination of this nonlinear resistance layer by providing the element with electrodes formed on the front surface of the nonlinear resistance layer and insulating layers formed by anodic oxidation in the parts exclusive of electrode forming parts so as to cover the nonlinear resistance layer. SOLUTION: The first electrodes 12 formed on a substrate 11 and the nonlinear resistance layer 13 covering the first electrodes 12 are formed. The constitution consisting of the second electrodes 17 formed atop the nonlinear resistance layer 13 and the insulating layers 26 formed by the anode oxidation in the parts exclusive of the second electrode 17 forming parts so as to cover the nonlinear resistance layer 13 is obtd. The nonlinear resistance element is prevented by such constitution from contaminating the surface of the nonlinear resistance layer 13. The nonlinear resistance element having the high reliability is obtd. by covering the tapered parts and edges of the element which are the cause for dropping the withstand voltage with the insulating layers 16.

    • PURPOSE: To enable manufacturing a nonlinear element excellent in in-surface reproducibility, by forming a nonlinear resistance layer by a sputtering method using a target of zinc sulfide in which transition metal sulfide formed by sulfating transition metal element is mixed. CONSTITUTION: After an orientation film 61 is spread on the surfaces of an element side substrate 57 and a facing side substrate 59 on which surfaces nonlinear elements, electrodes, etc., are formed, orientation treatment is performed, and then the substrates 57 and 59 are so stuck to each other that the orientation film 61 becomes inside. Then a White-Taylor type guest-host liquid crystal 62 is injected in the part between the substrates 57 and 59, and the injection port is sealed. Thereby the formation of a liquid crystal display device is finished. In this manufacturing method, in-surface reproducibility is improved by using a ZnS target in which nickel sulfide is mixed. Thereby irregularity of elements between manufacturing lots is eliminated, so that a display device using the nonlinear element like this can be stably supplied.

    • PURPOSE:To make display with uniform colors by facilitating the control of the film thicknesses of color filters. CONSTITUTION:The color filters 5 are formed on one surface of a glass substrate 6 of a pair of the glass substrates 6, 8 and an ITO film is applied on the surface on the opposite side to form transparent electrodes 7. Further, an oriented film 11 is formed thereon. Plural pixel electrodes 9 are formed on one surface of the glass substrate 8. Two sheets of the glass substrates 6, 8 are stuck in such a manner that the transparent electrode forming surface and the pixel electrode forming surface face each other. A liquid crystal 10 is sealed therebetween and the substrates are sealed, by which a liquid crystal panel 3 is formed. Further, a UV curing adhesive 4 is applied on the front surface on the color filter 5 side of the liquid crystal panel. A microlens substrate 2 and the color filters 5 of the liquid crystal panel 3 are then superposed on each other with good accuracy. The UV curing adhesive 5 is irradiated with UV rays from the microlens substrate 2 side and is thereby cured to completely adhere the microlens substrate 2 and the liquid crystal panel 3, by which the projection type color liquid crystal display device 1 is produced.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a stable concentration for developing by automatically replenishing a fresh developer and a carrier whenever the images of the fixed number of sheets are formed, and discharging the replenished developer or the deteriorated developer of the same quantity as that of the carrier. CONSTITUTION:After stirring rollers 3a and 3b are rotated, toner from a toner replenishing roller 4 and the developer in a developing tank 1 are stirred and mixed, they are magnetically attracted to a developing roller 2, the napping of the toner is adjusted, and then, they are carried to a photosensitive body D to carry out electrostic development. Thereafter, a counting signal is outputted to a controller 10 whenever a counting counter C counts the number of sheets for forming the image. Therefore, a developer replenishment control means 11 inside the device 10 drives the developer replenishing roller 5b of a developer replenishing device 5 and the developer is replenished into the developing tank 1 by a fixed quantity. Simultaneously, a carrying means 12 drives the stirring rollers 3a and 3b and carries the deteriorated developer to a discharging port 7. Further, a deteriorated developer discharging control means 13 drives an opening/closing device 9 to obtain a closed state of the discharging port 7, and the deteriorated developer is discharged on a deteriorated recovering container 6 via a L-shaped barrel.
