    • PURPOSE:To prevent easily a floated sheet at an exposure region by slipping off the position between a retaining region by a sheet retaining means and exposure region by an exposure device. CONSTITUTION:A sheet retainer 6 is arranged to retain this side from the exposure region 10 by an exposure lamp 4, that is, a part 11 is slipped off slightly in a direction opposite to the drum turning direction (in the direction of arrow in figure). Thus, when the start of the sheet 1, that is, the part of a claw 3 passes by the exposed region 10, the sheet retainer 6 is pushed up in a direction being parted from the drum peripheral by the action of a cam 9 and the sheet 1 of the exposure region 10 is released from the sheet retainer 6. Since the part is retained by the retainer 6, in such a case, the sheet 1 is tensed by the friction of the wire of the sheet retainer 6 and the turning of the drum and the sheet 1 of the region 10 is adhered closely onto the drum peripheral regardless of the release of the retainer 6.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic sheet winding device which can securely board an original on a drum, by clipping the edge of the original by a claw when a deflection occurs to the original as it arrives at the claw position. CONSTITUTION:The original 1 which is sent out from an original tray 2 by sending out roller 3 is further sent to transfer routes 6a, 6b through reversible rollers 4a, 4b and DF rollers 5a, 5b, and is forcibly bent to an arc shape at the peak part of the transfer route, and the edge of it is accurately abutted to the joint part of timing rollers 7a and 7b. Claws 12 and 13 are placed at the opposit position of the outlet of a paper supply guide, and they drive the timing roller 7a, 7b synchronously with the rotation of arrow direction of the original drum 9 when the drum 9 once stops so that the edge of the original shall be just clipped by the claws 12, 13. Therefore, the edge of the original is securely clipped by the claws, and the reliability of the device will be drastically enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism and to improve the reliability of the titled device by providing the 1st pawl for positioning on the circumferential surface of a rotary drum together with the 2nd pawl which works in response to the 1st pawl and actuating these pawls by a cam means in accordance with the revolution of the drum. CONSTITUTION:Pawls 5 and 6 are attached to shafts 17 and 18 and used for positioning of sheets and for hold and exfoliation of sheets respectively. These pawls 5 and 6 are energized by tension coil springs 22 and 23, and cams 12a and 12b have such shapes that are suited to the open/close actions of pawls 5 and 6. Therefore the pawl 5 is closed since a cam follower 16a is removed from the cam 12a when a revolving drum 2 reaches a position where an original is set. While the pawl 6 is opened inside since a cam follower 16b is pushed up by the cam 12b. An original 1 is stopped temporarily at positions of timing rolls 4a and 4b and the carried again when both pawls 5 and 6 reach with revolutions said prescribed positions. Thus the original 1 is pushed between the pawl 5 and a guide 24. Then the follower 16b is detached from the cam 12b and the pawl 6 presses the tip of the original 1 to the pawl 5. Then the drum 2 is revolved to reach the position where the original 1 is supported by the force of the spring 23. Thus a loading action is through with the original 1.

    • PURPOSE:To enable to obtain images with high gradation and high resolution, by a method wherein multiple recording is conducted on the same part by using a repeatedly usable recording ink film, and an image output with an intermediate gradation is obtained by varying the picture element density. CONSTITUTION:Picture element basis data fed from an interface 21 are stored in an input data memory 22, are sorted into 4-value levels by a gradation-processing part 23 in correspondence with a multi ink film having a density of 1/3 times of the maximum attainable density, and are stored in an output data memory 24. When recording is started, since the data from the memory 24 comprises picture element signals each of which corresponds to one of the 4-value levels, the number of times of electric current heating pulses fed to a thermal head 29 is selected in accordance with the tetravalent level signal, and 4 levels of recorded densities can be obtained for each of the tetravalent levels. During this period, such a control as not to feed a recording paper or the ink film is performed by a CPU25 through a mechanism controller 26. Accordingly, an image output with an intermediate gradation can be obtained by varying the picture element density.
