CONSTITUTION:A buffer plate 2 made of low Young's modulus metal such as copper is brazed with use of silver solder to a solid ceramic-made blade wheel 1, and thereafter brought into contact with a bearing support shaft 3 previously subjected to thermal refining and surface hardening and welded by means of electron beams. Since the buffer plate 2 is interposed in such a manner, residual strain in the vicinity of the brazed joint part can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE: To secure a satisfiable supercharging effect even in time of low speed, high load running, by installing a device which feed a turbine of a supercharger with secondary air, while controlling the said device on the basis of each signal out of an air-fuel ratio sensor and an exhaust temperature sensor.
      CONSTITUTION: Immediately after engine starting, a turbine 3 of a supercharger is driven by exhaust gas alone to be discharged out of an exhaust manifold 2. Next, in proportion as warming up advances, exhaust temperature goes up, and an exhaust temperature sensor 5 detects that it exceeds the setting temperature (for example, 600°C), while when an air-fuel ratio sensor 6 detects that an air-fuel ratio is in a lower rich mixture state that a theoretical air-fuel ratio, a secondary air feed controlling solenoid valve 13 is opened by a secondary air feed controller 16. If so, with an air pump 11, compressed secondary air passes through a preheater 14 surrounding a regulator 12, the said solenoid valve 13 and an exhaust pie 18, and it is mixed in combustion exhaust from a secondary air intake port 15 after being synchronized with an exhaust stroke in consequence.

This composite is sintered in a reductive atmosphere and shrinkage fit or welding is simultaneously performed to obtain a connector wherein compression force is added to ceramics. By this method, ceramics is prevented from rapid heating or quenching and damage due to heat shock is prevented while yield is enhanced.

On the other hand, a timing gear 4 is fixed to one end of a valve body 3, and it is connected to a driving gear 42 for a crankshaft CL by the intermediary of a timing belt 41.
