摘要： PURPOSE:To improve a performance of transmission by holding a throttle pressure at a specified value when a throttle is exceeded over a specified value and by feeding a line pressure to a regulator valve in place of the throttle pressure. CONSTITUTION:The throttle modifier valve 138 is arranged in a circuit of the throttle valve 139 and the regulator valve 128. The throttle modifier valve closes the feeding port 1b when the throttle pressure shows a specified value and the valve starts to open the drain port 1c. As a result, the throttle pressure applied to the regulator valve 128 is kept at a specified value. In a range suitable for performing the engine brake, a line pressure is applied to the circuit 154 from the manual valve 130. Since the pressure is higher than the throttle pressure, the line pressure is applied to the regulator valve 128 from the shuttle valve 8 in place of the throttle pressure.

摘要： PURPOSE:To relieve speed change shocks by controlling a front clutch pressure- reducing valve by a throttle pressure proportional to the throttle opening degree and reducing the line pressure fed to the front clutch in such a manner that the pressure is proportional to the engine output energy. CONSTITUTION:A regulator valve 1 is caused to generate a line pressure proportional to the engine torque by use of a pressure modifier pressure which is proportional to the throttle opening degree where the latter is low or moderate and which is constant where the latter is high. A throttle modulator pressure which is proportional to the throttle opening degree where the latter is higher than moderate degree, is used as a speed change control signal. The line pressure is reduced in, such a manner that it is proportional to the engine output energy, by a front clutch pressure-reducing valve 15 which operates in response to the throttle pressure proportional to the energy, before fed to a third-speed selecting front clutch. By this constitution, speed change shocks are relieved properly.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the operation of the accelerator pedal of an automatic speed change gear by maintaining the return force applied from the plunger of a throttle valve to the pedal approximately at a small constant value irrespective of the step- in amount of the pedal. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve 8 works when its plunger 8d is pushed in rightward by the step-in of an accelerator pedal from the released position. By the push- in of the plunger 8d, the force of a spring 8c increases, a spool 8b moves, and the throttle pressure in a circuit 48 is increased by the line pressure fed from an oil conduit 50. When the throttle pressure is about to surpass the force of the spring 8c, the throttle pressure introduced from an oil doncuit 49 into a chamber 8g pushes back the spool 8b, resulting in that the circuit 48 is communicated with a drain port 8t and the throttle pressure decreases. On a kick-down, the throttle pressure becomes equal to the line pressure.

摘要： PURPOSE:To shorten an idler shaft fixation device in its axial direction by providing a thread-working means inside the shaft bearing an idle gear in order to draw the shaft in a certain direction. CONSTITUTION:The shaft 4 is not provided with any seeling part or threaded part on its periphery but with a through-hole 9 for insertion of a bolt at its center part. A boss 3b provided at the center of bearing part in the front cover 102 is projected inward into the through-hole 9 and a threaded hole 3c is formed in this boss 3b, where a threaded part 10a of bolt 10 inserted in the hole 9 shall be screwed in order to apply pre-load to the tapered rolling bearing 5. This construction, where neither sealing means nor threaded means is provided in series on the periphery of shaft 4 but a threaded means is provided inside the shaft 4 parallelly, can make the dimension shorter than that according to usual construction.

Spline 15 can be generated not only with trapezoidal teeth but also with involute teeth.

The port 47b is connected to an oil passage 145 which is a torque converter oil pressure source passage by an oil passage 54.

CONSTITUTION:A shifting up operation from the second to the third-gear is accomplished by introducing the pressurized through oil a 2-3 shift valve 132 into a servo release chamber 170 to release a second break 106, and into a front clatch 104 to being it into engagement. A schedule valve 1 is installed in a oil path passing through the 2-3 shift valve 132, the front clatch valve 104 and the servo release chamber. When the pressurized oil supplied to the clutch 104 becomes lower than a predetermined level, the valve 1 closes the path which supplies the pressurized oil to the chamber 170 and is provided with a spool 3 actuateble to communicate the chamber 170 to a drain port.
