An impact-absorbing elastic body 21 made of rubber, or the like, is integrally and intimately contacted with the outer periphery and the inner surface of the cylindrical projection of the attaching casing 16 while taking the form of annuli, and a pressing rigid body 22 made of a metal, or the like, for approximately covering up the outer periphery and the upper surface of the shock-absorbing elastic body 21 and the inner surface of an inner ring is attached to the shock-absorbing elastic body 21.

    • PURPOSE:To utilize a pillar in improving a house in amenities and make effective use of a living space by a setup wherein an outlet for conditioned air and a return intake are provided in the outer side of a pillarlike structure erected from the floor to the coiling in the room and both the outlet and the return intake are connected respectively to air-conditioning air ducts to form the respective pasaageways. CONSTITUTION:One of air ducts 5 for air conditioning, set inside the ceiling chamber B, is bent downward at one end and connected to an air-outlet duct 5a and a flexible duct 6a by joining and fixing inside a pillarlike structure 1. The other of the air ducts 5 is likewise connected to a return intake duct 5b and a flexible duct 6b by joining and fixing. The pillarlike structure 1 consists of two separate sections, one being a section for the outlet 3 for conditioned air and the other being a section for the return intake 4. In effecting air conditioning in the middle of the room, conditioned air supplied through an air duct 5 in the ceiling chamber flows into the pillarlike structure 1 through the flexible duct 6a and then is sent into the room through the conditioned air outlet 3, and after circulation in the room, the air flows back to the return intake 4 and into the air duct 5 in the ceiling chamber.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the time period required for assembly work and to make a fan compartment smaller in size by a method wherein airflow channels of centrifugal multiple blade type fans are respectively divided into two along planes perpendicularly intersecting with respect to the axis of the fan, and partition plates are installed along planes parallel to the fan axis so as to form the fan compartment and two heat exchanger compartments located on both sides of the fan compartment. CONSTITUTION:Heat exchangers 2 and 3, heat exchanger compartments 6 and 7 with drain receivers 4 and 5 which receive drain, and a fan compartments 8 which is located between the heat exchanger compartments are provided inside an air conditioner main body 1. Centrifugal multiple blade type fans 9 are connected each other by an axis 10 that is connected to a motor 11 at one end. Wind channels 12 and 13 are respectively divided into two along planes perpendicularly intersecting to the axis 10, and partition plates 14 and 15 are installed so that the wind channels 13 of the centrifugal multiple blade type fans 9 are turned for 180 deg. around the axis 10 and fixed to the partition plates 16 and 17 that separate the heat exchanger compartments 6 and 7 from the fan compartment 8. As the airflow channels 12 and 13 are formed into the same cross sectional shape by the partition plates 12 and 13, the air is sent to both of the heat exchanger compartments 6 and 7 from fan compartment 8 when the centrifugal multiple blade type fan is brought into operation.

    • PURPOSE:To arrange two blowoff openings in the opposite direction by 180 degree in a blower casing of single body construction, and divide flow of the blowoff air, by setting an end plate as a symmetry plane and a center axis as a point symmetry, and constituting spiral shaped parts and blowoff openings as rotational symmetry by 180 degree on both sides of the end plate. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal multivane blower 1 and a spiral shaped blower casing 2 having blowoff openings 2a mutually opposed by 180 degree are symmetrically arranged on the both sides of the end plate 3 as a boundary on the center part in the axial direction of the blower 1 and formed in one body. In this case using this blower unit, even if the number of total sum of the blower units is even or odd, division of air flow is nearly equal and distribution of the blowoff air speed is favorable. Additionally, only one motor is enough to drive the whole blower unit, and whole construction of the blower unit is made simple due to a single body blower casing.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to install one of the side faces left unequipped with an air intake opening and air blow out-opening in contact with a house or so and make the blast flow smooth by providing on one side face of a unit an intake opening and a blow-out opening of the air for air cooling. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal type compressor 10 is installed along the long side 2b of a rectangular and pan-shaped substrate 2. On the opposite side 2c a flat type heat exchanger 11 is installed vertically to the substrate 2 and substantially over the whole width of a unit 1. A partition wall 13 of bell mouth construction is provided between the heat exchanger 11 and the compressor 10. A sirocco fan 14 is provided near to this bell mouth section 13a, and a wind tunnel wall 13b is formed between the compressor 10 and the sirocco fan 14. The air for air cooling flows as shown by the arrow F2 through the heat exchanger 11 as an air intake opening, partition wall 13, sirocco fan 14, and air blow-out opening 16 and blows out in the same direction as the intake side. It is also possible to install the unit on the inside of the walls of a house.
