Joint geared motors 18 for driving the respective joints, crawler geared motors 19 for driving the crawler mechanism 17 and running wheel geared motors 20 for driving the running wheels 2 and 3 are provided respectively.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to keep stable travelling for a working machine, always even on uneven surfaces or inclined surfaces, by tilting the working machine to the ascending inclined surface side with respect to a travelling device body. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 15 receives a detecting signal from an inclination detector 14 for detecting the inclined angle of a travelling device body 2 with respect to the horizontal surface and a detecting signal from a potentiometer 13 for detecting the inclined angle of a working machine 1 with respect to the travelling machine body 2, and delivers a deviation signal in accordance with these two detecting signals to an amplifier 16. The amplifier 16 transforms the signal into a voltage signal and delivers the latter to a drive motor 11 which therefore rotates, through a transmission unit 17, the working machine 1 which is fixed to a swingable shaft 9, in the direction in opposite to the inclined direction of the travelling device body 2 so that the working machine 1 is made perpendicular for positioning the gravitational center G of the working machine 1 on the swingable shaft 9. The output from the amplifier 16 to the motor 11 ceases when the deviation of the detecting signal of the potentiometer 13 with respect to the detecting signal of the inclination detector 14 becomes zero, so that the operation of the machine is stopped.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the inspection of visual accuracy as occasion calls, by arranging a pair of driving wheels on both sides of the main body of a frame having a vacancy in the central part, and an all-direction caster in the rear end part thereof, and by providing a direction control unit at the end of the main body of the frame. CONSTITUTION:Units incorporated in a frame 20 of a carrier device are all constituted to be symmetrical vertically, and the main body 20 of the frame is formed approximately in the shape of a boat and has a vacnacy in the center. In the rear end part of the main body 20 of the frame, a spherical all-direction pole caster 24 is fitted vertically so that it can perform free tracking in accordance with driving wheels 21a and 21b. In addition, a direction control unit 27 is fitted at the end of the main body 20 of the frame, and a small-sized industrial TV camera is fitted thereon.     • PURPOSE:To automatically accomplish seal welding of the plug to be stuffed into the hole of the ceiling by so oscillating the welding torch of the tool rest mounted to a walking robbot as to draw the circle of the same diameter as that of the hole of the ceiling and vertically moving the entire part of the tool rest thereby controlling the arc length of the torch. CONSTITUTION:The welding torch 100 of the tool rest mounted to the attachment of a walking robbot 11 is gripped to the torch support plate 101 which is oscillatably installed to a base 126. The plate 101 is so oscillated as to turn the torch 100 without letting it rotate about a tube hole 10 by the revolution of the three links 105 which draw the circle of the same diameter as that of the hole 10. The movement amount of the torch 100 may be detected with a potentiometer and therefore if arrangement is so made that a welding arc signal is emitted when the distance from the lip of a plug 102 comes to the correct position or if the operator puts in the signal, then the welding is started. Thereafter, welding current is detected and the arc length is controlled by vertically moving the entire part of the tool rest through vertical movement of the attachment.
