    • PURPOSE:To improve red color reproducibility and particularly the red color reproducibility in the graded part of leg parts by setting the sensitivity of the DIR photosensitive layer contg. a compd. (DIR compd.) which releases a development restrainer and the spectral sensitivity distribution thereof to specific values. CONSTITUTION:The DIR photosensitive layer of the silver halide color photographic sensitive material has the sensitivity equal to or higher than the sensitivity of the red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and the max. of the spectral sensitivity distribution of the DIR photosensitive layer is set the same as the max. of the red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer or longer than the same. Various means of forming the silver halide of the DIR photosensitive layer to the particles larger than the particles of the silver halide of the red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, increasing the degree of chemical maturation, increasing the color sensitivity, etc., may be used in order to make the sensitivity of the DIR photosensitive layer equal to or higher than the sensitivity of the red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer. Means for replacing a part or the whole of the sensitizing dyes used for the red sensitive silver halide emulsion with the sensitizing dyes of the longer waves, etc., are usable for forming the DIR layer to the spectral sensitivity distribution longer in wave than the spectral sensitivity distribution of the red sensitive silver halide emulsion layer.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the photosensitive material which is improved in sharpness and color reproducibility by constituting at least one of photographic constituting layers including blue-, green- and red-sensitive emulsion layers of a single layer and incorporating specific couplers into at least one layer of the photographic constituting layers. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive material has the photographic constituting layers contg. the blue-, green- and red-sensitive emulsion layer on a base and at least one of the respective layers consist of the single layer.     • PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness of the title material, and to obtain a cyan pigment picture having high optical density even at the time of processing the photosensitive material with a fatigued bleaching solution by incorporating at least one kind of coupler in which the max. absorption wavelength of the released pigment, etc., shifts to a short wavelength side before being released the pigment, and a specified coupler in the photosensitive material, respectively. CONSTITUTION:At least one kind of the coupler in which the max. absorption wavelength of the released pigment or the pigment formed from the precursor of said pigment shifts to the short wavelength side before being released the pigment, and at least one kind of the coupler shown by formula I are incorporated in the photosensitive material. In formula I, R is -CONR R or -NHOR , etc., R and R are each hydrogen atom or a substituting group, X is hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released by allowing it to react with the oxidant of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, (l) is 0 or 1, (m) is 0-3, R and R are each hydrogen atom or an aliphatic group. Thus, the sharpness of the photosensitive material at a high and a low frequency sides is improved, and the stable optical density of the cyan pigment picture is obtd., even at the time of processing the photosensitive material with the exhaused bleaching solution.
