A water tank 20a filled with a liquid 21a inside is supported by a weight 11a to form the second pendulum water tank damper 1a. The water tank 20a is suspended and supported by wire ropes 12a from the frame 4 so that the lower section of the weight 11a supporting the water tank 20a is immersed in the liquid 21 of the water tank 20.

By effect of viscosity resistance developed between the resistance board 7 and the liquid 9, attenuation of the mass 1 is imparted to the device and, at the same time, swing cycle of the pendulum is made to be extended being suspended by plural-stage suspension. Therefore, a compact device with contracted vertical dimension becomes available.

摘要： PURPOSE:To contrive reduction of costs, by connecting in parallel a small hydraulic system pump connected to a constantly operating small electric motor, a large hydraulic system pump connected to a large electric motor and an accumulator, and by having the large hydraulic system pump started when vibration amplifies. CONSTITUTION:A small hydraulic system pump connected to a small electric motor, a large hydraulic system pump connected to a large electric motor and an accumulator are arranged in parallel, and the large hydraulic system pump is equipped with a pressure regulating valve which actuates by a pressure sensing instrument. At ordinary time, only the small hydraulic system pump is operated and oil pressure necessary at an initial period of an earthquake is stored thereby in the accumulator. When vibration sensors 1 and 2 sense a vibration of the building, control signals are transmitted from a control signal generating circuit respectively to a servo valve and a power source to move added mass MAD, and at the same time, to start the large hydraulic system pump and to make the pressure legulating valve regulates load. Consequently, running coat of the vibration control device can be reduced.

CONSTITUTION:At a certain spacing to the left and right, a plurality of supporting rollers 3 are installed on the oversurface of a base frame 2 installed at the floor 1 of a building. A V-rail 4 formed with a certain angle of opening is placed on the oversurfaces of the supporting rollers 3 in such a way as swinging freely. Over the rail 4, a weight 5 is fixed which is embodied in the form of an upset triangle so as to mate with the rail 4. The weight 5 is swung so that it makes simple harmonic motion in a single piece with the rail 4 in the direction to the left and right upon the supporting rollers 3, and thereby a spring system due to restoration force using the gravitational force is formed. A left and a right projection 6 are installed at the sides on the front and rear of the weight 5, and a left and a right buffer 8 mating with the projections 6 are installed on a frame 7 which pinches the weight 5 fore and aft, and thereby the swinging region of the weight 5 is restricted.

When swings due to an earthquake are generated in the structure 1, the weight 6 is swung to the left and right on the supporting rollers 3 in a single piece with the V-rail 4 so that it works as vibration control mass.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a high damping device which is compact size, has high damping performance and further is excellent in safety for realizing a passive type earthquake restriction structure. CONSTITUTION:A rod 12 which gets in and out from a cylinder 11 and the cylinder 11 serving as a cylinder type damper are respectively connected to the columnar beam frame of a structure and anti-earthquake elements located in the columnar beam frame. Pressure regulating valves 17a, 17b are disposed in a passage passing through a piston 12, whereby oil as a working medium directly flows into an oil pressure chamber 14a (or 14b) on the opposite side. The pressure regulating valves 17a, 17b give a designated damping coefficient to an earthquake up to 25kine level. Further, relief valves 27a, 27b are disposed in the piston 12. For an earthquake above 25kine level, the relief valves 27a, 27b are opened to decrease a damping coefficient not to cause any increase in load applied to a high damping device 10.
