    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixed powder for powder metallurgy which is composed mainly of an alloy steel powder and is enhanced not only in tensile strength but also in fatigue strength while maintaining high density of a sintered compact.
      SOLUTION: The mixed powder for powder metallurgy is obtained by blending 0.2 to 5 mass% Ni powder and/or 0.2 to 3 mass% Cu powder into the alloy steel powder containing 0.05 to 1.0 mass% Mo in the state of being diffused and adhered to the surface of an iron base powder containing ≤0.5 mass% Mn and 0.2 to 1.5 mass% Mo, as a prealloy.
