    • PURPOSE:To reduce the pressure fluctuation of cooling water, and to enhance reliability by the simplification of control devices, by providing a bypass pipe by which the cooling water for respective apparatus coolers is bypassed from the upstream side to the downstream side, and providing this bypass pipe with a cooling water pressure regulating valve. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus cooling water for a power plant is sent to a cooling water cooler 3 by a cooling water pump 1 to lower the water temperature. The cooling water is sent to respective apparatus coolers 9 through a main cooling water pipe 2. The cooling water pressure regulating valve 7 which is arranged in the bypass pipe 6 for respective apparatus coolers keeps the cooling water pressure constant via the signal of an inlet/outlet differential pressure detector 8 of the cooling water pump 1. Thus, the pressure fluctuation of cooling water can be reduced, and the simplification of control devices can be achieved.

    • PURPOSE:To ensure the performance of a ball sorting apparatus by processing surplus water at the inlet of the ball sorting apparatus and controlling the flow rate of the ball sorting apparatus to a proper flow rate. CONSTITUTION:When sorting balls, the sorting ability of a ball sorting apparatus 7 depends on the passing flow rate of water because of the characteristics of the ball sorting apparatus 7. That is, at the time of a low flow rate, the worn ball sorting ability is lowered. Further, the ball sorting apparatus has such a property that at the time of excessive flow rate, even normal balls are sorted as worn balls. Therefore, it is necessary to control the flow rate to an appropriate flow rate. In order to control the flow rate, a bypass line 8 for bypassing the ball sorting apparatus 7 is provided, and surplus water is bypassed to control the flow rate of the ball sorting apparatus 7. Further, a flow rate throttle mechanism 9 is provided for throttling the flow rate by use of an orifice, a valve or the like. When throttling of the flow rate is not necessary, the flow rate throttle mechanism may not be provided. By bypassing surplus water through the bypass line 8, the flow rate of the ball sorting apparatus can be set appropriately thereby to ensure the ball sorting performance of the ball sorting apparatus.

    • PURPOSE:To perform exhaust gas recombustion combined cycle operation without dropping the output of power generation by a steam turbine by measuring the outlet/inlet temp. difference of a condenser circulating water, and therewith controlling each condensate rate of flow on the supply water heater side and the economizer side. CONSTITUTION:A boiler 1 generates steam by using the exhaust gas 27 from a gas turbine 25 as air for combustion. The generated steam makes its works in steam turbines 2-4 and drives a generator 5. A condenser 6 condenses the exhaust gas 21 from the steam turbines 2-4 using the circulating water. Therein a condensate rate-of-flow adjusting valve 13 is installed on each of two branch lines of the condensate system leading to a low pressure supply water heater 9 and a low pressure, low temp. economizer 12. The water temps. of the inlet side and the outlet side circulating water 22, 23 at the condenser 6 are measured by respective temp. measuring devices 24. When the measurement of the temp. difference is greater than the corresponding set value, the condensate rate-of- flow adjusting valve 13 is controlled so that the rate of flow of the condensate on the low pressure supply water heater 9 side increases.

    • PURPOSE:To precisely and surely weld a stem body structure and the opening end of a neck section by inserting the first heater with the sufficient heating capability in a mount pin fitted with a stem body structure and providing the second heater on the outer periphery of the mount pin. CONSTITUTION:A mount pin 20 is provided with a mount pin base 21 with a smoothly formed top face in particular on its top section so that a stem body structure mounted with an electron gun body structure can be correctly fitted to it. The first heater 22 with the sufficient heating capability is inserted into the mount pin 20, the second heater 23 is provided on the outer periphery of the mount pin 20. The mount pin has little portion directly exposed to the outside air, even if a sharp change of the outside air temperature occurs, the mount pin base is heated with little effect from it. The stem of a stem body structure fitted to the mount pin base can be welded to the neck section opening end of a cathode-ray tube at the optimum heating temperature. The stem body structure and the cathode-ray tube neck section can be surely and precisely welded.
