摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a term of a general correct notation from dropping down to a low position of a retrieval rank, by setting not only a use frequency information column but also an array rank fixed information column in a homonymic group, as an attribute for a learning function of a KANA (Japanese syllabary) to KANJI (Chinese character) converting dictionary. CONSTITUTION:First of all, a homonymic group is extracted from a KANA to KANJI converting dictionary. Subsequently, whether array fixed information exists in this group or not is checked. In case when the array fixed information does not exist, an arrays rank is determined in accordance with the use frequency with regard to the whole homonymic group. In case when the array fixed information exists, the array order is determined in accordance with its information, and also, as for a partial group having no array fixed rank i the homonymic group, the remaining rank according to the previous array fixed information is determined in accordance with the use frequency. According to said system, the array rank of a term of a notation confirming to a correct writing method by which the rank in the homonymic group must not be varied by only simple use frequency information can be kept in a high rank. Accordingly, it can be prevented that a term of a general correct notation drops down to a low position of the retrieval rank by a simple learning function due to a user's prejudiced use experience.
