    • PURPOSE:To contrive to miniaturize an oil separator and consequently enable to miniacurize a compressor by a structure wherein grooves, which require no space, are arranged on the inner wall of a chamber in order to improve the oil separation efficiency of the oil separator in the compressor. CONSTITUTION:Compressed gas containing oil droplets therewithin passes through a hole 34 formed in the vicinity of the center of a grooved plate 26 and flows between grooved plates 26 placed one upon another at intervals in the direction normal to the grooves 35 of each plate 26 in the oil separator with a construction, in which a plurality of the grooved plates 26 and a cover 27 are fixed to a rear plate 2 by means of a bolt 28 within the chamber 11. The oil droplets grow larger while the gas passes between the grooved plates 26 and fall down by gravity in order to be stored in an oil reservoir (not shown). On the other hand, oil mist, the oil droplets of which are not completely separated from gas, are caught by the grooves 35 arranged on the inner wall of the chamber 11, resulting in further improving the oil separation efficiency and accordingly enabling to miniature the oil separator and consequently the compressor.

SOLUTION: This feed screw device 20 includes the screw shaft 1 formed with a spiral channel on an outer circumferential surface, the plurality of rollers 4 capable of revolving, while being in contact with the spiral channel, and a cage 2 rotatably supporting the rollers 4 to alternately convert relative rotation and linear motions between the screw shaft 1 and the cage 2. The feed screw device 20 further includes a bearing 5 rotatably supporting the rollers 4 and a holder 6 supporting the bearing 5 and supported by the gage 2. An inner ring of the bearing 5 and the rollers 4 are formed by an integral member. A projection 5d is provided on a side closer to the screw shaft 1 on an outer circumferential surface of an outer ring of the bearing 5, and the holder 6 abuts from a side far from the screw shaft 1 of the projection 5d. Truncated cone shaped rollers 5a of the bearing 5 are arranged with substantially no gaps in a peripheral direction.
