摘要： PURPOSE:To extend a leak detection monitor region by providing a moisture heated layer around a part of heat sensitive points of a multipoint heat sensitive sensor having plural heat sensitive points and detecting the difference between outputs of heat sensitive points near this layer and outputs of the other heat sensitive points. CONSTITUTION:A multipoint heat sensitive sensor 10 having heat sensitive points 101-108 is provided in a heat insulator 3 covering the surface of a cooling system pipe 1 in which a high-temperature and high-pressure cooling water is flowed. Heat sensitive points 101, 102, and 103 and heat sensitive points 104... are paired, and a moisture heated layer 12 is provided around heat sensitive points 102, 104, 106, and 108 of ones of pairs. If leaked water 4 penetrates, the temperature near the hear sensitive point 104 is raised by the moisture heated layer 12 to generate a significant thermoelectromotive force in the output of the multipoint heat sensitive sensor 10. By this output signal, an alarm device 124 is operated through an amplifier 121 and a comparator 123.

Part of incident light to a measurement surface 34 is incident on water as refracted light 26, but the remainder is projected on a reflecting surface 25 and reflected there to return to the measurement surface 34. At this time, part of it is emitted in the water and the remainder passes through the optical fiber 28 and is incident on a photodetector in a direction 33 through the half-mirror 29. The light received by the photodetector is converted into an electric signal, and recorded on a data fetching device coupled through a signal line.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable to produce a metallic material with excellent heat conductivity by a method wherein a heating medium is sealed in pores of a molded body made of a porous metallic material and, after heating, the surface pores are closed to use said pores as a heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:The porous metallic material 1 with 20-30% porosity produced by press-molding and sintering a metallic powder is placed in a hermetically closed container 2. Valves 3, 4 are opened and a vacuum pump is operated to evacuate an interior of the container 2 and, thereby, a gas present in the pores of the metallic material is removed by suction. Subsequently, the valves 3, 4 are closed and the heating medium 8 is placed in the container 2 by opening a valve 6 and, after filled in the gas pores of the metal material 1, exhausted from the container 2 as well as the metal material 1 is heated by a heater 9. After a part of the heating medium in the gas pores is evaporated, the pores at the surface are closed by plating treatment to produce the metallic material capable of being used as the heat pipe having high heat conductivity.
