    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide recovering system that can prevent a COscavenger from being immersed in water when liquid water is produced by condensation of water vapor in a COabsorption tower in which the COscavenger is stored.SOLUTION: A carbon dioxide recovering system for recovering carbon dioxide from a carbon dioxide containing gas includes: a solid carbon dioxide scavenger 101; a carbon dioxide absorption tower 100 for storing the carbon dioxide scavenger 101; and a flow passage inlet 104 for allowing water vapor to flow into the carbon dioxide absorption tower 100, wherein the carbon dioxide absorption tower 100 is provided with a liquid storing part 102 below the carbon dioxide scavenger 101.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of use of water vapor in relation to a COseparation/recovery apparatus for recovering COfrom a CO-containing gas with use of a solid COcapturing material.SOLUTION: A COseparation/recovery apparatus for recovering COfrom a CO-containing gas includes: a capturing material container 1 including a COcapturing material for capturing CO; a first pipe 2a for making the CO-containing gas flow into the capturing material container 1; a second pipe 2b for discharging a gas, from which COhas been removed by means of the COcapturing material, from the capturing material container 1; a third pipe 2c for introducing a water vapor-containing gas into the capturing material container 1; and a fourth pipe 2d for discharging a CO-containing released gas, which has been released from the COcapturing material due to flow of the water vapor-containing gas, from the capturing material container 1. The COseparation/recovery apparatus further includes: a compressor 4a for compressing water vapor; a fifth pipe 2e for connecting the capturing material container 1 and a suction port of the compressor 4a; and a sixth pipe 2f for connecting the discharge port of the compressor 4a and the third pipe 2c.
