摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet electric rotating machine which suppresses iron loss caused by the reaction magnetic flux of an armature and allows effective use of the reluctance torque. SOLUTION: The permanent magnet electric rotating machine has a first rotor core in which a permanent magnet is inserted into a permanent-magnet inserting hole and a second rotor core which has a reluctance magnetic circuit. A recess is provided between the poles near the surface of the outer periphery of the first rotor core, and a flux barrier, which constitutes the reluctance magnetic circuit of the second rotor core, is formed in a shape different from that of the permanent-magnet inserting hole, in order to provide the permanent magnet electric rotating machine with a large output by deciding a magnetic pass of the reaction magnetic flux of the armature and effectively utilizing the reluctance torque.

Consequently, a stator ties abutting face 6 and a stator core back-abutting face 7 are provided.

SOLUTION: A bind bar 17, composed of a copper rod 17B having a cross section which is about 70% of the cross-sectional area of each fully-opened slot 3 provided in a rotor core 4 and an aluminum film 17A, is inserted into the bottom section of each fully-opened slot 3. Almost all the space of each slot 3 is occupied by the copper rod 17 and aluminum, and almost all bar currents flow to the copper rods 17B having low resistances when a squirrel-cage induction motor is operated at a nominal speed and to secondary conductors 5, composed of high-resistance aluminum when the motor is started. Since the currents flowing to the bars 17 flow to the copper rods 17B, having low resistances, the secondary resistance of the motor is reduced and the efficiency and characteristics of the motor are improved.

Hereby, the improvement of the utilization factor of the plate material, that is, the effective use of the board material is made, and besides the influence of the gap existing at the split faces 6 and 7 between the several steel plates can be made small, and the improvement of a dynamo-electric machine can be made.
