    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject mixture enabling to persistently elute an agrochemical active ingredient at a necessary dose over a whole plant growth period one by the application of the mixture by coating the surface of an agrochemical granular agent with a coating agent. SOLUTION: This mixture comprises a mixture of coated agrochemical granular agents having different elusion-suppressing periods, respectively. Each of the coated agrochemical granular agents is obtained by coating (A) the surface of an agrochemical granular agent comprising at least one kinds of agrochemical active ingredient having an insecticidal action and/or an antimicrobial action and at least one kind of water-swellable substance with (B) a coating material containing a thermoplastic resin as a main component. The coating film obtained by coating the component B preferably has a monolayered structure. The obtained mixture can persistently elute a necessary amount of the agrochemical active ingredient to persist the medicinal effect of the agrochemical active ingredient on crops for a long period. Thereby, the maintenance for culturing various kinds of agricultural crops can effectively be carried out.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-performance granular herbicide which can perform high- precision control of time-limited release of herbicides by formulating granules of agrochemicals having different release timings from each other and continuously maintain their herbicidal effects for a long period of time, thus enabling the perfect single treatment which has been difficult to realize in the prior arts (techniques). SOLUTION: This granular herbicide is coated on the surface of each granule to suppress the release of active ingredients of the agrochemical inside for certain periods and comprises 2-1 combination of a short-term elution type of coated herbicidal granules which begin developing its herbicidal action in 1-14 days after application to the field with a long term elution type of coated herbicidal granules which begin developing its herbicidal action in 15-40 days. This mixture of coated herbicidal granules contains the active ingredients of agrochemical and a substance swelling with water as the core substance inside the coating layer and the core is coated with a coating material mainly containing a thermoplastic resin on its surface. Due to the moisture Permeability of the coating layer, moisture is allowed to act on the inner substances of the granules to give internal stress to the coating layer and cause cracking and breaking it after a certain period of time thereby releasing the active ingredients outside after a certain time after application.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a time decomposition-type coated agrochemical granule capable of releasing an active component after a specified time from the application to a field by coating an agrochemical granule consisting of the agrochemical active component and a water-swelling material with a film consisting of a specific polymer. SOLUTION: An agrochemical granule consisting of an agrochemical active component and a water swelling material is coated with a film obtained by compounding a main component consisting of an olefin polymer and an olefin copolymer with a thermosetting resin in a dispersed state. The thermosetting resin is preferably a polyamide acid solution obtained by reacting an acid anhydride with an amine and/or a diamine, and especially, the powder obtained by burning the solution and pulverizing is preferable. The thermosetting resin is contained in a dispersed state at a ratio ranging 0.1-30wt.% based on the film. Further, a surfactant is optionally dispersed in the film. Furthermore, a water-insoluble or poorly water-soluble inorganic powder is optionally contained in a dispersed state in the film. After the application of the agrochemical granules to a field, water in the field acts on the water-swelling material in the granule owing to moisture permeability of the film. This gives the film inner stress and forms cracks after a specified period.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a delayed-collapsable coated agrochemical granule releasing the agrochemical active component after the lapse of a prescribed period by coating an agrochemical granule with a coating film containing a specific polymer or its copolymer as a main component and compounded with a specific polymer fine powder as an assistant component. SOLUTION: An agrochemical granule composed of one or more kinds of water-swelling substances and agrochemical components is coated with a coating film composed mainly of an olefin polymer or its copolymer and containing a water-absorbing and/or water-soluble polymer fine powder dispersed in the film as an assistant component. The (co)polymer is e.g. a polyethylene or an ethylene-propylene copolymer. The coating film may further contain a surfactant and/or a water-insoluble or scarcely soluble inorganic powder in dispersed state. The coated agrochemical granule can be produced by dissolving the coating material in a solvent, spraying the solution to fluidized agrochemical granules and removing the solvent to dryness by blasting high-speed hot air flow. When the coated agrochemical granule is applied to a field, water is permeated into the core through the moisturepermeable coating film to cause the collapse of the granule by the action of the water-swelling substance.
