    • PURPOSE:To simplify the switching of the intraocular pressure observation of an eye to be inspected and ordinary observation and to efficiently perform inspection by inputting/outputting a filter for excitation to an illumination optical path with the output of a detecting means which detects the position of an aplanation tonometer, and changing slit width. CONSTITUTION:When intraocular pressure is measured, the inspection is performed by arranging the aplanation tonometer 16 between the eye to be inspected and an observation microscope 3. At such a state, the position of the tonometer 16 is detected with a detecting switch 17, and the filter 20 for excitation in an illumination part 13 is loaded by driving a solenoid 19 interlocking with the signal of the above detection. Simultaneously, a slit knife 21 is opened to a range with prescribed width by an interlocking mechanism with a motor 22. Also, when the tonometer 16 is moved in a side direction to perform the ordinary observation, the detecting switch 17 is turned off, and the filter 20 for excitation on the illumination optical path is retracted outside the light path with the solenoid 19. Also, the opening/closing of the slit knife 21 in the ordinary observation is performed with the operation of the motor 22 by an opening/closing switch 23.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent failure to mount a lens cap after an ophthalmologic device is used and to completely protect an objective lens by setting a place to put the cap, which is detached from the objective lens, in a position to cover a power supply switch. CONSTITUTION:When the eye ground of a reagent A is observed or photographed, a power supply switch 6 is turned ON at first and a lens cap 7 is detached from the lens-barrel of an objective lens 3 and pun in a cap setting place 8. A detection switch 9 is operated by the set lens cap 7 and an eye ground lighting-up light source in a main body 2 of an eye ground camera is turned on. Then, it is started to observe or photograph the eye ground. Namely, when the lens cap 7 is not set in the prescribed setting place 8, the light source for lighting-up the eye ground is not turned on and the eye ground can not be observed or photographed. Since the power supply switch 6 is covered with the lens cap 7 after the eye ground camera is used, the lens cap 7 is removed without fail at first and mounted to the objective lens 3 before the power supply switch 6 is turned off. Afterwards, it is necessary to turn off the power supply switch 6. Then, the lens cap 7 can be prevented from being left mounted.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent forgetting of putting a lens cap in place after use of the device concerned by furnishing an alarm indication means to raise alarm in response to an output signal given by a lens cap sensing means, which senses that no lens cap is put. CONSTITUTION:When the eyeground of a person A is observed or photographed, a lens cap 9 is set off from the barrel for an objective lens 5 and placed in a cap placing area 10, that will actuate a sensor switch 11. When the operation is finished and the eyeground camera is left unused, a power switch 8 is normally turned off. If at this time the lens cap 9 remains still in the cap placing area 10, an alarm indication means 12 is actuated through the action of the sensor switch 11, a backup power supply, etc. Accordingly the inspector B is informed by this alarm that the lens cap 9 is not set on the objective lens 5, that prevents forgetting of putting the lens cap 9 in place.
