When the index film stuck to the holder is allowed to abut on the film F held by the member 5 by an adjusting button in a state where the member 5 is loaded in the film projecting device and focusing is performed, the projecting part of the adjusting button is engaged with the notch of the member 5 so that the member 5 is fixed and prevented from moving.

That is, the device main body A is shared and by exchanging and loading the units B and C, it can be utilized as the copying machine or the printer. Thus, the problem of equipment cost and the equipment installing space is solved when providing the two machines of the copying machine and the printer as entirely separate devices of single functions.

As the gear 11 rotates, a force F operates on a 2nd gear 12 in a direction shifting by the pressure angle theta, so the developing roller 4 which is coaxial with the gear 12 receives a force of separation from the image carrier 2, but the developing roller 4 can more only in a linear direction deviating from the direction B crossing the force F at right angles by + or -0.3theta, so that the roller never is separated through the operation of an elastic member 6. Consequently, the relative position relation between the developing roller 4 and image carrier 2 is maintained with high accuracy.

CONSTITUTION:One end part and the other end part of a spring 31 are fixed to a feeding shaft 24 and the outer peripheral part of a spring box 30 respectively. When a fixation film 23 is moved in a feeding direction at the time of performing a fixing action, shown by an arrow C, the energy of the spring force is accumulated in a direction opposite to the feeding direction through the feeding shaft 24. In such a case, since tension is given to the fixation film 23 with the spring force of the spring 31, the film 23 is fed and comes closely in contact with a transfer sheet without causing wrinkle or waving. Thus, heat from a heating body 21 is uniformly transmitted to the transfer sheet and a part of the toner image can be prevented from being unfixed or fixed incompletely.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a moving mechanism from breaking by fixing a moving copying unit to a fixed original platen in a switch-off state and releasing the moving copy unit from being fixed in a switch-off state associatively with a power switch. CONSTITUTION:The power switch 14 and a fixed member 15 which constitutes a fixing mechanism are arranged closely nearby the opening part of the fixed original platen 2. The fixed member 15 is constituted by projecting a fixed lever 15b and a hook 15c at both ends of a shaft 15a in the same direction and the whole fixed member 15 is fitted rotatably around the shaft 15a. When the hook 15c is positioned as shown in a figure D, the moving copy unit 3 is released from being fixed by the fixing mechanism and when the hook 15c is positioned as shown in a figure E by rotating by 90 deg. through the hole 2a of the fixed original platen 2 and the hole 3a of the moving copy unit 3, the hook 15c engages the part of the hole 3a of the moving copy unit 3 to fix the moving copy unit 3 by the fixing mechanism. Then the fixed member 15 and power switch 15 are associated operatively.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain a mutually separated state when it is not desired to abut a cap directly on a jetting means at the time of suction recovery by abutting a part of caps on the jetting means while allowing a selective capping operation for sustaining the remaining caps in separated state. SOLUTION: Since a cap holder spring charged upward is pushed downward when a protrusion 31 on a cap holder for a pretreatment liquid cap 4S abuts on the lower surface 23f of a carriage 23, the cap 4S is sustained in a state separated from a jetting means (e.g. the jet head 1K for black ink). More specifically, the cap 4S is sustained in a state separated from any jetting means 1 at the time of ink sucking (suction recovering) operation thereof. The cap 4S does not abut on ink jetting means 1K, 1C, 1M and 1Y and a mutually separated state can be sustained between the cap and the jetting means at the time of suction recovery if direct abutting is not desired.
