摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally stack a sheet even when the sheet happens to be curled by moving a sheet receiving means with a moving means to eliminate the abnormal state when a sheet stacking state is judged to be abnormal from the data of a sheet-stacking-state judging means. SOLUTION: When the discharge of sheets is finished, if actual distance data measured by a distance measuring sensor 60 is smaller than the distance between the discharge opening 50 and the upper surface of the sheet which is supposed from the sheets stacked on a tray 24, the rear end of the stacked sheet is caught on the discharge opening 50 and the sheet is thought to be curled. Therefore the tray 24 is once moved down to a specified position and then moved up to a specified position, whereby the rear end of the sheet caught on the discharge opening 50 comes off and the sheet can be stacked in a normal state.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor a sheet in a sheet positioning member of a sheet processing device by means of a sheet number counter so as to control an image forming device main body on the basis of the output from the counter. SOLUTION: A sheet conveyed from an image forming device main body 1 so as to be temporarily stored in a sheet positioning member 23 is folded in two by means a pair of folding rollers 30, 31, and then, bookbinding is carried out. A sheet in the sheet positioning member 23 is detected by means of a sheet counter, and according to an output signal from the counter, an action of the image forming device main body is stopped. In this way, the height of a bound bundle of paper after double folding is kept constant, so that a bookbound object with a good appearance can be obtained.

Then, paper discharge rollers 501 of a sorter 500 are driven and the paper with stamped record on it is discharged on to sorting trays 502.
