By computing a prescribed index from the respective output values relating to the first and second forms and comparing the index and a prepared correspondence chart, a center deviation amount between the X-ray tube and the detector is computed. The position of the X-ray tube or the detector is adjusted in the body axis direction on the basis of the deviation amount.
