    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner particles from being stuck and deposited onto a brush roller when the toner particles attached to a developing blade are removed by the brush roller. SOLUTION: The brush roller 3 is constituted of a roller part constituted by flocking semiconductive synthetic resin fiber (resistivity value: 1×103 to 1×108 Ω.cm) such as rayon or nylon on a conductive cylinder and a shaft part made of metal, and the same voltage as developing voltage VD is applied to the roller 3 in the midst of developing operation. A reservoir 5 where the roller 3 is immersed in liquid developer in the midst of the developing operation is constituted of a plate metallic member, and the same developing voltage VD as that of the roller 3 is applied to the reservoir 5 together with a brush blade 6 made of metal and always coming in contact with the roller 3. Since the toner particles attached to a developing roller 1 by an inverse developing phenomenon in the midst of printing and removed by the developing blade 2 are electrified to be at the developing voltage VD, they are mostly separated from the roller 3 and dispersed in the liquid developer again, and the toner particles left without being separated are removed by the blade 6.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent feeding failure of a sheet, delivery failure and carrying failure on a feeding roller device. SOLUTION: This feeding roller device 100 uses a roughened surface roller 150 provided against it in a contact state by being energized by a delivery roller 130. Surface roughness of the roughened surface roller 150 is higher than the same as surface roughness of the delivery roller 130, and hardness of its surface is also made higher than the same in the same way. Consequently, a surface of the delivery roller 130 is cut along a surface roughened shape of the roughened surface roller 150, and the surface roughened shape of the roughened surface roller 150 is transferred. Consequently, as friction resistance of the surface of the delivery roller 130 is never lowered, the feeding roller device 100 can prevent delivery failure. In the same way, the feeding roller device 100 can be used also for carriage of a sheet.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation efficiency of a printing device by judging the presence/absence of paper corresponding with paper designating information which is administered, and at the same time, changing the priority order of printing data when there is no paper corresponding with the paper designating information. SOLUTION: An A4 size paper is housed in a paper feeding portion 5, a B5 size paper is housed in a paper feeding portion 6, and a B4 size paper is housed in a paper feeding portion 7. When information to show that there is no A4 size paper in the paper feeding portion 5 is outputted to a printing output portion 4 from the paper feeding portion 5, the printing output portion 4 transmits the information to a printing data control portion 3. Then, the printing data control portion 3 stops a process for printing data which is about to be processed. In addition, the printing data control portion 3 outputs a command to a standing-by printing data housing portion 2 in such a manner that the printing data of which the process has been stopped may be removed from a processing line for printing while keeping the priority order as is, and moved to a stand-by line. Also, the absence of the A4 size paper, the pending of a printing process and the replacing of printing orders due to the absence are notified to a host computer 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system such as a printer or a facsimile capable of securely and efficiently predicting a life of a replaceable component or a consumable article and notifying a user of the result even when the printing system is used in a network. SOLUTION: This printing system consists of a printer 6 that includes a printer controlling section 7, a consumable article 10, memory means 8, 9, 11 and a network communication means and accumulates printing history information into the memory means at each time of printing data, and a host computer 1 connected to the printer 6. The host computer 1 comprises a network communication means, a managing means 4 for managing a date such as a replaced date of the consumable article 10, a means for reading the printing history information from the printer 6, a means 3 for predicting a date to replace the article based on the printing history information read from the printer 6 and an indicating means 2 for indicating the predicted result of each consumable article. An interval for monitoring the printing information accumulated in the printer can be varied from the host computer.
