    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen for preventing the movement of sand due to the movement of fluid in a horizontal well or an inclined well.
      SOLUTION: The screen comprises: a hollow base pipe (2) where a number of liquid collecting holes are formed; and a spiral wedge wire (5) that is wound around a support rod for welding so that slits with a specific width can be formed at the outer periphery side of a support rod (4). The screen has a spiral wedge wire screen (3) that is cut in an axial direction at one point on a circumference. Both the edges (3a, 3b) in the peripheral direction of the spiral wedge wire screen are overlapped for winding at the outer periphery side of the hollow base pipe (2). Then, an edge section (3) at the side of a middle outer periphery of the both the ends is connected by a connecting wire for passing the hollow section of the hollow base pipe at a portion other than both the end sections (3a, 3b) in the spiral wedge wire screen (3) at a specific interval in the axial direction of the screen.

    • PURPOSE: To heighten the water catchment efficiency regardless of the hole diameter by forming an outer and an inner pipe through winding a wire round cores arranged circularly while an appropriate spacing is reserved, and by filling the gap between the two pipes with gravel. CONSTITUTION: A water catchment pipe 1 is formed by inserting an inner pipe 3 into an outer pipe 2 and filling the gap between them with gravel 4. The outer pipe 2 is formed by winding spirally a wire 8 with a small spacing round cores 7 which are arranged between an upper ring and a lower ring 6, and a water passage slit narrow on the natural ground side and wide on the inside is formed between turns of the wire 8 having a triangular section, and it is made unlikely that grains of earth and sand flow into the outer pipe 2. The inner pipe 3 is configured the same as the outer pipe 2, wherein the lower ring 6 is welded to the bottom bed so that coaxial arrangement with the outer pipe 2 is generated. A water passage pipe 12 is connected with the upper ring of the inner pipe 3 and inserted through a boring hole, and the hole is excavated to the same as or some greater than the outside diameter of the water catchment pipe 1, and the outer pipe 2 is put in tight contact with the hole wall so that the catchment efficiency of subsoil water is heightened.

    • A tubular sand screen is made in one piece entirely of powdered metal slivers which are molded and sintered to form a metallurgically integral rigid tubular structure. Aggregate metal particles, for example, stainless steel slivers, are bonded together by interatomic diffusion as a result of sintering the compacted slivers under high temperature and pressure conditions. The sintered metal sand screen performs the function of the conventional prepack assembly as well as the screen function. In one aspect of the invention, the sintered metal screen is subjected to electropolishing to yield an effective porosity of 40-60 mesh, with an average pore size of 150 microns. Most of the surface irregularities are removed by electropolishing, and very few nucleation sites remain where particles in the size range of 74 microns-100 microns can become captured or otherwise lodged to cause plugging of the screen.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a removable tube for cleaning of contaminated soil which is usable for injection and extraction of a fluid by drilling the contaminated soil. CONSTITUTION: An injection and extraction tube is constituted to be removably inserted into the soil and is provided with a hollow tube member 16, which has a principal axis 14, first and second end parts, and a tip end part 20, which is fitted to the first end part of the tube member 16. The tube member 16 has plural apertures 26, which are formed in the wall thereof and enable the fluid to flow in a direction intersecting almost perpendicularly to the principal axis. Further, the injection and extraction tube is provided with a mounting means 40, with which the tube member is detachably mounted on a driving means 38 to enable the revolving action around the principal axis of the tube member, and this mounting means 40 is constituted to detachably mount the tube member 16 on a fluid system, which acts so as to be drived by passing the fluid through the apertures 26.
