    • The camshaft serves to control valves in internal combustion engines.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigid plate connecting method for connecting rigid plates easily without welding or bolt fastening while disjointing them easily to put them back into the state before connection. SOLUTION: Bent parts 2 are provided at one side of two rigid plates 1, and the tip edges of the bent parts 2 are bent at an acute angle onto the rigid plate 1 side to form locking edge parts 3. A bar-like shield member 4 is formed in approximately arrow mark shaped cross section provided with two parallel edge parts 6 projected keeping a clearance from a shield part 5 with an approximately triangular through-hole 5a. Two rigid plates 2 are arranged making the bent parts 2 abut so that the locking edge parts 3 are placed back to back.
