摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form high-quality coating films without unequal coating on the coating surface of an object to be coated by providing the front end face of the main body of a coating machine provided with an injection port of a coating material with an ion generator of a single electrode or composite electrode type for entraining positive ions and negative ions in atomizing air and releasing this air toward the injection direction of the coating material. SOLUTION: The main body 1 of this coating machine is projectingly provided with the injection nozzle 2A at the front end face of a head 1H and is provided with nozzle heads 4A, 4A for pattern air above and below the injection nozzle 2A. In such a case, an ion generating electrode wire 3 is formed by using a piano wire, etc., and plus and minus voltages are alternately impressed on the ion generating electrode wire 3 inserted into the main body 1 to alternately generate the positive ions and the negative ions. The electrode 3A at the front end of the electrode wire 3 is projected through the injection nozzle 2A in an axial line direction. As a result, the unstable plus charges of the coating material grains are converted to the stable charges having bipolar by the ion generation, by which the high-quality coating film is formed on the coating surface.

SOLUTION: In air control element 21, an annular ring 22 freely removably fitted to a front surface 24 of a front section 14 is incorporated. A turbine prime mover 44 includes a rotary driving shaft 42 passing through a turbine housing 40 and a circular bore 28 of the annular ring 22 and having a spray head 30 at one end thereof. A fixed fluid flow tube 46 completely passes through a rotary driving mechanism 36 and extends, and communicates with a pneumatic valve 49 and the spray head 30 at one end thereof and the opposite side end respectively to transfer liquid paint from the valve to the spray head 30. Turbine driving air is led to an outer periphery 132 of a driving wheel 47 to rotate the wheel. Thus, the liquid paint is prevented from being stuck to the housing and leaking causing defects of equipment, and the head can be kept clean.

SOLUTION: Pattern air is fed to between a cylinder 4 and a cap 5 through a gas feeding port 14 and is blown radially around the path axis of a gun and to behind the gun from an opening between the pattern air reflecting surface of the cap 5 and the front of the cylinder 4. In this case, since by fitting a projection 21 provided on the outer periphery of the fitting part of the cap 5 in a groove 20 provided on the inner periphery of the fitting part of the cylinder 4, a clearance H between the cylinder 4 and the cap 5 is set over the whole periphery around the path axis, gas is always and uniformly blown from the diffuser to obtain a stable coating pattern.
