The transfer device is 1 is provided with, a pair of pulleys 2 and 3, an endless wire 5 stretched between the pulleys 2 and 3, carriers 10 fixed to the wire 5 and drawing the carts 6, a motor 4 that makes the wire 5 travel by rotating the pulleys 2 and 3. Each of the carts 6 has a vehicle body 61 having seats 62, four wheels 63 that are installed on the vehicle body 61 and rotate freely, and a protection cover 65. A rope 7 as a traction device is set on the front side of every cart 6. When the rope 7 is hooked onto the engagement portion of the carrier 10 and persons sit down on the seats 62 of the carts 6, they are drawn with the carrier 10 by the travel of the wire 5 and carried to a higher place.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely change the travel direction of a vehicle by rotating a ring- like driving wheel with its center axis as the rotational center, and steering a pair of free rollers in opposite phases to each other. SOLUTION: This vehicle is provided with a ring-like driving wheel 10 disposed to surround the peripheral lower end of the vehicle, and a pair of free rollers 21, 22. The driving wheel 10 is rotated in the direction of an arrow mark (x) with its center axis as the rotational center and grounded on the ground at a contact point. With the operation of an operating lever 43 serving as an operating means 30 and by a hydraulic cylinder 31, a rack 32 is moved in the direction of an arrow mark 32x and in the reverse direction to the direction of the arrow mark 32x, and a pair of free rollers 21, 22 are steered in opposite phases to each other so as to rotate the free roller 21 in the direction of an arrow mark 21x and to rotate the free roller 22 in the direction of an arrow mark 22x. The travel direction of the vehicle 1 can therefore be freely changed.
