摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the channel search time by permitting a station selection control circuit to set a local oscillation frequency, while shifting it for a entire frequency band by means of a first control signal and permitting a discrimination circuit to discriminate respective channel positions, to receive a second control signal, based on a discriminated result and to set it to a designated frequency. SOLUTION: A control circuit 17 outputs a first control signal S17a to a station selection control circuit 124 and AGC 125 at first, and the circuit 124 shifts the oscillation, frequency of a local oscillation circuit 123 within the entire band width so as to output it. A discrimination circuit 15 discriminates the channel positions in band width, and the circuit 17 receives a signal S15 and stops the output of the signal S17a. Then, a second control signal S17b is outputted. The circuit 123 selectively sets the frequency by the control of the circuit 124, based on the discriminated result of the circuit 15, which is stored in a storage device 16 by the signal S17b. Thus, high-speed searching for viewing only the output level of a tuner is executed at first, and the channel search time is shortened.

Afterward, search operation is done at a low speed.
