    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load of installation work of an insulation cover member 1, and to further preferably decrease a cost of the insulation cover member 1, in a wire harness 2 equipped with an electric wire bundle 9A formed with a joint portion 7, and the insulation cover member 1 for covering the joint portion 7.SOLUTION: An insulation cover member 11 is a flexible member obtained by molding resin material in a cap shape. At a part around which a uniting material is wound in a cylindrical portion 11 of the insulation cover member 1, a constriction part 111 constricted by eliminating difference in level with the other part on both of an inside surface and an outside surface in a height direction (a Z-axis direction) orthogonal to a longitudinal direction (an X-axis direction) of the insulation cover member 1 is formed. The inside surface of the constriction part 111 has dimensions in the height direction smaller than the dimension in the height direction of a joint part 7, and dimensions in a width direction (a Y-axis direction) larger than dimensions in the width direction of a first electric wire bundle 9A.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase waterproofing accuracy and cut waste of a cap and a water sealing agent, in a water sealing method in which an electric wire terminal splice portion is accommodated in the cap and embedded in the water sealing agent to be hardened inside the cap.SOLUTION: A cap, in which a stop valve provided with a water sealing agent injection hole in a penetrating manner is tightly fitted and fixed to an opening at one end of a heat-shrinkable tube, is used; a splice portion is inserted into the cap; the heat-shrinkable tube is shrunk after the insertion of the splice portion; and subsequently, the water sealing agent is pressurized and injected into the cap from the water sealing agent injection hole provided in the stop valve.
