    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load cell which is superior in corrosion resistance and is capable of maintaining accurate measurement for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A load cell 10 includes a strain element 12 made of two-phase stainless steel. The two-phase stainless steel comprises a component satisfying a composition which contains, by mass, at least 0.03% or less of C, 1.0% or less of Si, 1.5% or less of Mn, 0.04% or less of P, 0.03% or less of S, 6 to 8% of Ni, 24 to 26% of Cr, 2.5 to 4.0% of Mo, 0.1 to 0.4% of N, 0 to 0.5% of Cu, and the remainder comprising Fe and inevitable impurities. The load cell 10 has hysteresis of 0.035% or less in strain measurement under the condition that an output voltage is 0.5 mV/V or more.
