    • PURPOSE:To prevent a hysteresis between heating body electric power consumption and the amount of evaporation, and obtain an evaporating device effecting the control of the amount of evaporation correctly by a method wherein a heating body for evaporation is buried into a wicking body sucking liquid by capillary action. CONSTITUTION:In the liquid fuel combustion combustor which is used the evaporating device constituting of an evaporating unit 2a surrounding a heating body 1 for evaporation and a wicking unit 2b sucking the liquid up to the evaporating unit 2a, when a starting switch turns on, the heating body 1 is conducted by electric current and the evaporation of the liquid fuel sucked by the wicking body 2 is started. At the same time, the liquid fuel is sent into the evaporator 6 through a supplying device 9 and a fuel supplying pipe 8 from a fuel tank 10. According to this method, the amount of the liquid fuel in the evaporator is always maintained by constant amount from the fuel supplying device 9 during combustion.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent adhesion of tar and the like and reduction in the factor of evaporation, by constituting a device such that a liquid wicking body forming an evaporating part for evaporating liquid is mounted, and a part of the wicking body is positioned in a level higher than that of the lower end of the evaporating part. CONSTITUTION:A liquid fuel 7 is fed through a flow-in port 2 for liquid to minatian a constant level surface. A liquid wicking body 5, the one end 8 of which is immersed in the liquid, wicks the liquid and carries it upward by capillarity, and the liquid reaches an evaporating part 10 through a highest point 9. In the evaporating part 10, the heat generated by a heat generating body 6 is transferred through the liquid wicking body 5 or directly to the liquid fuel to evaporate and disperse the liquid. In which case, the air is fed through a flow-in port 3 for evaporation so that it aids to evaporate and disperse the liquid fuel. The air and evaporated gas are exhausted through an exhaust port 9 as they are mixed together. This permits suppression of an increase in the temperature of the evaporating part and prevention of adhesion of tar and the like to the evaporating part.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce running cost by providing a heating means operated on recycled exhaust gas in methanol solution and a recycled exhaust gas supply means for leading to combustors the methanol vapor generated by said heating means. CONSTITUTION:A portion of the exhaust gas at the outlet of a fuel economizer is led into a fire furnace from an exhaust gas recycling fan 1 through a throttle valve 2 and a line 16. Recycled exhaust gas is divided before a throttle valve 2. Thus- obtained one branched portion of said exhaust is fed to a methanol heating gas solution heating pipe 12 through a methanol heating gas adjusting valve 5 and a methanol heating gas flowmeter. Said portion is heated to evaporate methanol while passing through said pipe 12 and reaches a mixing header 14. Other portion is divided further into two: one is led to a methanol solution heating tank 11 through a carrier gas adjusting valve 9 to transfer dense methanol vapor to a mixing header 14 and the other to said mixing header 14 through an adjusting valve for diluting and mixing methanol vapor to dilute methanol vapor.
