SOLUTION: In this deep water intake installation pumping up and taking deep water from the deep layer of a water area with the deep water pump 1 located on the ground, a motor-operated valve 10, gradually opened/closed in conjunction with the operation of the deep water pump 1 when water intake is started and stopped, is installed in the water feeding pipe connected to the delivery side of the deep water pump 1. When the water intake is started, the motor-operated valve 10 is fully closed. After the operation of the deep water pump 1 is started in this condition, the motor-operated valve 10 is gradually opened. When the water intake is stopped, firstly, the motor-operated valve 10 is gradually closed, and the operation of the deep water pump 1 is stopped after the motor-operated valve 10 is fully closed.

Using the hot waste water from the factory as the hot heat source and the low-temperature river water, underground water, snow, etc. as the cold heat source, a waste water pump can be driven, whereby saving the energy.
