摘要： PURPOSE:To provide the misfire detection device of a gasoline engine capable of accurately detecting a misfire with a simple circuit structure in a bipolar distributor-less ignitor (DLI) type ignition device. CONSTITUTION:The misfire detection device of a gasoline engine with a DLI type ignition device is provided with ignition coils 1, 2, a primary current interrupting means 4, and spark plugs 11, 12, 21, 22 connected to both terminals of the secondary circuits L2 of the ignition coils 1, 2, and partial pressure values of secondary voltage wave-forms applied to the spark plugs 11, 12, 21, 22 fitted to cylinders of an engine are added. The misfire detection device is constituted of a secondary voltage detecting circuit 6 outputting the attenuation characteristic of the added partial pressure values for the plus polarity side and the minus polarity side, a cam signal transmitting circuit 8 outputting the cam signal for each cycle of all cylinders fitted to the engine, and a misfire judging circuit 7 judging a misfire based on the cam signal from the cam signal transmitting circuit 8 and the output signal from the secondary voltage detecting circuit 6.

摘要： PURPOSE:To form an ignition voltage detecting condenser together with a spark plug cap as one body, improving the structural durability, by making up a recess on the circumference of an insulator in a spark plug, and fitting each preformed half-splitter in this recess from both sides. CONSTITUTION:A spark plug cap is provided with a high-voltage conductor 6 inducting a high voltage out of an ignition coil 2 into a spark plug 3 and an insulator body surrounding this circumference. In this case, in order to form an ignition voltage detecting condenser 18, first of all, a recess 8 to continue in the circumferential direction is formed on the outer of an insulator body. Next, a pair of half-splitters 10 (A, B) along a semicircular portion of the recess 8 each and two half-ring electric conductors 11 (A, B) are molded as one body with insulating material. In succession, these half-splitters 10 are fitted in the recess 8 from both sides, while the end parts themselves of these half-ring electric conductors 11 are made contact with each other electrically, forming a detecting electric conductor 16. Then, the detecting condenser 18 is formed in space between this detecting electric conductor 16 and the high-voltage conductor 6.
