    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fiber of high quality of which the diameter is kept constant by controlling the rotating speed of a collet so that the winding speed of fiber is nearly fixed, according to the reciprocating operation position of a spiral wire against the collet, in a device traversing the fiber. SOLUTION: A spiral wire shaft 7 is supported with the front face of a winding device main body 1, it is rotationally driven by a motor 8 so as to wind fiber 10 on a spiral wire 3, and by rotating the spiral wire 3 in the condition, the fiber 10 is traversed in the direction of the axis (n). At this time, the spiral wire shaft 7 is reciprocated by a motor 9. In this case, the reciprocating operation position of the spiral wire shaft 7 against a collet 2 is detected, a winding diameter corresponding to the position of the spiral wire 3 is obtained when the spiral wire 3 traverses while being biased on the end part side of a package 6, and the rotating speed of a motor 5 is corrected so that the peripheral speed of the collet 2 on the position becomes nearly fixed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correspond to all threads of different types such as threads produced by different raw materials and manufacturing methods and threads having different thicknesses by arranging a plurality of tensile force providing members having different characteristics for each thread to be doubled and changing the tensile force providing members over to an operation position and a stand-by position. SOLUTION: A gate t1 on one side of a gate tenser T1 is attached to a piston rod 8a of a fluid cylinder 8 and is constituted in such a manner that a single thread y is bent zigzag by the gate t1 on one side and a gate t1' on the other side by operating a fluid cylinder 8a adequately and can selectively move to an operation position where tensile force is applied to the single thread y and a stand-by position where the gate t1 on one side leaves the gate t1' on the other side and tensile force is not applied to the single thread y. Consequently, the change-over of all tensile force providing members of a doubler can be easily done by a simple configuration because the change-over of the tensile force providing members between the operation position and the stand-by position is done by the fluid cylinder 8.

Because the tension value generated in the wire 4 after the tail end of the wire 4 comes off in the finish rolling machine 1 becomes the magnitude of the magnetic force to be applied to the wire 4, i.e., the function of the excitation current value, the excitation current value is determined from the function relationship so that the tension value generated in the wire 4 agrees with the stored operated tension value, and the excitation current value is controlled.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply wires to a wire stranding machine by making tensile forces constant even if the wires different in tensile force are supplied, and manufacture a high-quality product having no stranding habit by arranging an auxiliary receiver to respectively receive the wires so that tensile forces of the wires different in a stranding pitch become constant, between a wire supply machine and the wire stranding machine. SOLUTION: Wires W stranded at a different stranding pitch by a wire supply machine are respectively guided to an auxiliary receiver by tensile force from a wire stranding machine. The respective wires W are wound by about a half round around a receiving roller 22 by passing through respectively different grooves 20 of a lower part of a guide roller 21, and are rewound around a groove 20 different from previous time of the guide roller 21, and proceed to a die. At this time, the receiving roller 22 is rotated by a motor, and receiving force is imparted to the wires W by frictional force of its surface and the wires W. Even if tensile forces of the respective wires are different from each other, since the same receiving force is imparted to the respective wires W by passing through the same receiving roller 22, tensile forces of the respective wires W become constant.
