    • PURPOSE:To provide a sorting apparatus which can be easily installed in an arbitrary position additionally. CONSTITUTION:A main body 44 of a sorting apparatus 4 is disposed opposite to a branch position of a transport path of a conveyer apparatus 1 in such a manner as to be selfsupported on the outside of the conveyer apparatus 1. The main body 44 is provided with an arm 45 adapted to oscillate to sort a load 5 to the branch conveyer apparatus 3 side, a cylinder device for oscillating the arm 45, and a control device for controlling the cylinder device according to a command signal from the conveyer apparatus 1. Thus, the sorting apparatus 4 is provided separately from the conveyer apparatus 1, so that in the case of installing the sorting apparatus 4, after the conveyer apparatus 1 is installed, the main body 44 of the sorting apparatus 4 may be disposed in such a manner as to be selfsupported on the outside of the conveyer 1 apparatus. Accordingly, the sorting apparatus 4 can be easily installed in an arbitrary position additionally.

    • PURPOSE:To surely inoculate a spawn into cultivation bottles by inoculating the spawn thereinto while conveying a container in its housing state of the cultivation bottles in the container. CONSTITUTION:The objective mechanism for inoculating a spawn is used in an spawn inoculator capable of intermittently feeding a container 12 housing cultivation bottles 10 and successively inoculating the spawn from the front row in the conveying direction for each row and thereby inoculating all the cultivation bottles in the container. This mechanism is equipped with bottle pressing plates 22 for pressing the shoulder parts of the cultivation bottles at spawn inoculating positions and supporting the cultivation bottles in an erected state in intermittently feeding the cultivation bottles to the spawn inoculating positions and stopping the cultivation bottles, pressing rollers 40, set at a peripheral speed in agreement with the moving speed in moving the cultivation bottles and capable of rolling the cultivation bottles while pressing the top surface of caps in contact therewith in moving the cultivation bottles, pressing pawls 60 for engaging with the outer peripheries of the caps at the spawn inoculating positions and holding the cap between them and the pressing rollers and reversing mechanisms 44, 45 and 46 for supporting the pressing pawls at upper positions straddling the conveying surface in the width direction, simultaneously reversing and moving the pawls according to the operation to install and remove the caps.
