CONSTITUTION:When a marine vessel is tilted by the centrifugal force produced by turning or the force worked from the side such as beam sea, beam wind or the like, the acceleration alpha in the point of center of gravity produced by the above forces is calculated by a computer 12. From the position of center of buoyancy obtained from a detection value 6 of an inclination detecting mechanism 33 and a displaced volume calculated value V and the position of center of gravity separately obtained, the horizontal component D and the vertical component H of the distance between both positions are obtained. In the case where alpha>k(D/H)max or a calculation equation equivalent thereto is established between each component D, H and a safety factor k fixed including a gravitational acceleration (g) by a setting mechanism 37, immediately a safety device is operated by a computer 21.

    • PURPOSE:To safely measure the draft line without being influenced by waves by inserting a scale wire having a float at the top edge in a telescope type guide type suspended from a broadside and driving-in/out a guide pipe according to the scale wire driving-in/out quantity. CONSTITUTION:A piece of the supporting metalware 2 is rotatably connected with a hinge 2 installed on a hull 1, and a telescope type guide pipe 4 is connected and suspended through a hinge 2a. A scale wire 5 is inserted through the inside of the pipe 4, and a float 7 is installed at the top edge of the wire 5, and the wire 5 is driven-in/out by a winch 8. When the pipe 4 is suspended from a broadside, and the wire 5 is driven out by the winch, the float 7 is separated from a stopper 10, and driven out downward, and then also the guide pipe 4 is lowered and extended, and the lower edge is immersed under the draft line 6. Accordingly, the float 7 is floated up on the draft line 6, and the draft is measured by the scale on the wire 5 without being influenced by waves.

      CONSTITUTION: A kinematic equation factor calculating circuit 3 receives kinetic characteristic data and submarine/lateral steering angle signals Bef, Bea from a kinetic characteristic memory 4, a steering sensor 1 and a speed sensor 2 respectively to calculate the factors of an equation of motion and supplies the calculated result to a trim/floating variable calculating circuit 5. The circuit 5 calculates the trim and floating variable on the basis of optimum estimation by using said inputs and applying filtering based upon a karman's filter fora linear control system shown by the kinematic equation. The trim and floating variable calculated by the circuit 5 are supplied to a display circuit 8, so that the trim and floating variable affecting upon the submarine boat can be detected quantitatively.

      CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus in which a pressure detection element is set at the same position as the undersurface of an object floating on a liquid to measure the draft from the output value thereof, a plate body (disc)21 having a tiny hole is mounted on the undersurface of the pressure detection element body 17, which then, is arranged within the plane flush with the undersurface of the object while a chamber is formed between the plate body 21 and the body 17 to house a stopper diaphragm 22. A center diaphragm 23 is connected to the stopper diaphragm 22 and abutted on a pressure sensor 16 to detect the displacement of the diaphragm as pressure. In this manner, the undersurface of the diaphragm 22 is protected while done from the excessive pressure.
