摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocking chair constantly smoothly starting the rocking operation of a seat part.
SOLUTION: This rocking chair is provided with a motor storage case 20 fixed to a base member and an eccentric pin receiving member 36 to be attached to the bottom face of a seat body. The eccentric pin 22 is driven by a motor so as to revolve around the rotation central shaft 23 of the motor. The eccentric pin receiving member 36 is provided with a guide groove 37 extending long in the direction of diagonally crossing with the rocking direction for movably receiving the eccentric pin 22. The eccentric pin 22 is so set as to constantly stand still in a position other than the rocking-direction upper limit or lower limit position by a tensile force of a spring 25.

Then, the angles of inclination of the seat surface 3 and the back rest 4 may be changed stepwise.
